Une connaissance m’a suggéré ce produit en prévention, pour protéger les articulations de mon chien. Mon chien avait 6 ans et aucun problème de santé lorsque j’ai commencé à lui en donner. Au fil du temps, mon chien (très sportif: jogging, longues randonnées, nage, etc.) perdait de son énergie. Son endurance à l’effort diminuait. Il a cessé de vouloir faire du jogging. Puis, de toutes petites marches. Il a cessé de nous accueillir à la maison lorsqu’on arrive. Il est devenu léthargique. Au début du mois de juillet, j’ai oublié d’apporter ces suppléments pendant mes vacances. J’ai rapidement observé que son énergie est revenue. Son regard n’était plus absent. Il a recommencé à nager. Il marche plus longtemps et nous accueille avec un bas ou un jouet :) J’ai complètement cessé de lui donner ces suppléments. Mon chien a maintenant 8 ans. Il va mieux depuis 3 semaines. My 12 year old pup has been taking this supplement for the past 3 years or so. He gets some stiffness in his hips from time to time which I notice had decreased significantly since he started taking the supplement. There have only been a couple of times where I didn’t refill in time to avoid a gap in his treatment and I could definitely see he seemed more stiff at this time. He takes 1/2 two times a day so I love this large size for such a great price, which will last me almost a year. The only thing a little frustrating with the advanced strength is the density of the tablet which makes it harder to break in half. Some tablets seem a bit more packed than others so for those, I use scissors, but most days if I just put it on the edge of the counter and kind of pull downward it will split. It’s not annoying enough to deter me from using the product. My dog seems to love the flavor and had no problems eating them and they are working so I will continue daily until the end!

If you're looking for pain relief and support, try Cetyl-M, also by Nutri Vet, previously known as Response. I had used Cetyl-M (Response/Nutri Vet) for my dogs for years, with great results. They still sell Cetyl M, thank goodness, because IT WORKS. I was giving my dog a maintenance dosage (1/2 tab) of Hip & Joint, but when he needed relief, nothing, even with a full tablet every day. That just upset his stomach. This "Hip & Joint Advanced Strength" didn't do anything for my dog. But, as soon as I got him back on Cetyl M, all it took was three days and his mobility increased, with a dramatic improvement over the first week. Now he's back on a maintenance dose of one per day, and doing great.

We switched our dog from the high priced Vet prescribed medicine to this and haven’t noticed any deterioration. Seems to work just as well.

My Dobie, Max, has a fairly common hip and joint problem. My vet had prescribed Rejuvenate which worked quite well. When the prescription expired I ordered Rejuvenate Plus from Amazon because my vet was no longer available unless I paid an outrageous fee for her to write just a prescription renewal. I mistakenly believed that since the names Rejuvenate and Rejuvenate Plus were similar the results might be similar as well. Was I ever wrong. The Rejuvenate Plus made Max sick and when he started digging through his food to find it and throwing it on the floor I was getting concerned. Then, when he did not find it in his food, where it was mixed with some meat, and he unknowingly ate it and started vomiting I threw the Rejuvenate Plus in the trash. I decided to check out the contents of this Nutri-Vet and noticed that it contained some of the ingredients that were in his former prescription so I placed the order. I give him the Nutri-Vet every morning with his food. He has no objection to it and does not throw it on the floor but gobbles it down. He seems to be getting up a bit easier especially after he has been laying down for an hour or more. This Nutri-Vet seems to be working as well as the prescription did in aiding his getting up and down. I.will continue to give him these tablets and if all continues to go well I will reorder this product when the current supply runs out. It is sad to see your pet struggle just to get up and this Nutrri-Vet is doing well to assist in that effort.
