AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion, SPF 30 Face Sunscreen, 3oz

I cannot recommend this lotion enough—I have been using it consistently for five years and it is hands-down the best daily moisturizer I have ever found. It is incredibly difficult to find a product that provides excellent hydration while also packing SPF 30 sun protection, but this one does it flawlessly. The formula is lightweight, truly oil-free, and leaves my skin feeling soft and protected all day without ever feeling greasy or heavy. Because it is non-comedogenic, it never clogs my pores or causes breakouts. The addition of hyaluronic acid and niacinamide has noticeably helped maintain my skin's moisture barrier and even out my skin tone over the years. It layers beautifully under makeup and has become an irreplaceable step in my morning skincare routine!

I love CeraVe products! I find them to work very well with my skin. I had eczema when I was a child, and during the summer and winter months, my skin can get very dry. And these products help! I will continue to order CeraVe! I use this every morning. Great value for the money. Fragrance-free and non-greasy. I love that it has SPF 30 in it as well. I know my skin will be protected if I'm out in the sun all day! This is the only moisturizer I like to use in the morning!

I’ve used this moisturizer for years and keep repurchasing it because its lightweight, non-greasy SPF 30 formula simplifies my morning routine. I started using it after having basal cell carcinoma, so daily sun protection is especially important to me. It provides effective protection while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. It absorbs quickly, delivers lasting hydration, and wears well under makeup without pilling or feeling heavy, leaving my skin smooth and protected. I originally bought it at Costco and was glad to find it on Amazon at a similar price with the convenience of Prime shipping. After years of use, it has earned a permanent place in my skincare routine. If you want a reliable daily moisturizer with sun protection that works well under makeup, this is an excellent choice.

I bought this along with some other CeraVe products as part of skin care routine (I have acne prone sensitive skin) but I've only gotten arround to using it today so here's my review. Starting off with the good. I appreciate that it doesn't feel oily or heavy like other sunscreens I've used and that it didn't cause my skin to break out. In fact, I could've forgotten I put it on if it weren't for the typical sunscreen smell and cast it left. Plus I wore it under my makeup with no negative affects! I do have a tan skin tone and don't get sunburnt so I can't say I noticed much of a difference in how the sun affected me but I assume it did its job. As for the negatives (or rather the one negative), despite claims to the contrary it does in fact leave a white cast. Now how severe that white cast is depends on how well you rub it into your skin before it dries. Because I was in a bit of a hurry there were some areas that I didn't get properly and the white cast there was a lot more noticeable, I tried to wipe it but it had already dried so it was pointless. Luckily I wear makeup so I just covered it up but still I wouldn't recommend this if you don't have/wear makeup or are in a hurry because if you don't rub it in properly you'll get a noticeable white cast. Of course if you do it right the cast is very faint and as your skin absorbs it, it gets even less noticeable meaning that its barely a problem for most people its just that I HATE looking pale so I'll almost never wear this without makeup to cover it up. All that considered I give it a 4/5 it's great as long as you don't mind the usual sunscreen smell, rub it in enough that the white cast isn't very noticeable, cover it up with makeup, or unlike me don't mind looking a little pale.

Skin cancer is no joke. Recommended by my dermatologist and I use it daily! If it could be a 50spf it would be even better. If I’m going to be exposed to the sun all day I also carry a 50spf and apply as necessary (as you do with any sunscreen). This is a great moisturizer and does not make my skin oily, does not irritate my skin as other products have done (I have sensitive skin). I am fair skinned and have no issues blending this product in. Use 1 pump and it covers well…face, neck and ears!

One thing to know about this, if you use it, Michael cera will burst through your mirror, whether you want him to or not

This is a great facial sunscreen and an okay moisturizer. It is too heavy and leaves a sheen on the forehead that no amount of powder can cover. It would work for the beach or pool, but daily use under makep, not so good.

I went through this bottle faster than I expected, which is saying something because most sunscreens annoy me enough that I abandon them halfway. This one didn’t. If you have any hyperpigmentation, sunscreen is non‑negotiable — even if you’re not planning to step outside. Yep, it matters. Indoor light still counts, and this SPF 30 makes it easy to stay consistent. The lotion absorbs quickly, doesn’t leave a greasy film, and doesn’t fight with makeup or other skincare. It’s very much a one‑and‑done morning product: moisturizer + SPF in one step. No drama, no white cast, no sticky feeling. Just simple, effective protection. I appreciate that it’s fragrance‑free, gentle, and has the classic CeraVe ceramides and hyaluronic acid. My skin didn’t complain once. Honestly? It’s the kind of product you don’t think about — you just use it every day because it works. I might add that I don't look my age. Crepey skin looks more plumped and hydrated. I have used a million and one products. I appreciate that this lotion is a decent price and does a great job.

The cream was delivered used. Instead of the contents, the bottle contained water. The cream packaging was torn, clearly indicating that the product had been used.

It seems from the other reviews this depends on your skin, i have semi oily skin and its practically the only thing i plan to use from now on. Love it. The bottle is small and is priced highly, but a lot of people forget you're only meant to use 1 pump, maybe 2 max. I bought this in September last year, and use it 5 out of 7 days a week and feels like there is still plenty in there. Maybe if people stopped using 3-4 pumps a day they'd realize its actually not as bad of value as it seems. Just because it has SPF in it does not mean its a replacement for a real sunscreen later in the day if spending time outside, so you do not need to lather so much on.
