Update 08/03 - I found another zippered pocket.. totally hidden! Its on the side in the back of the purse. I can't believe Ive been using it all this time and didn't even see it. A few weeks in, and I'm still loving it!I LOVE this purse!! Exactly what I was looking for! Stylish, just the right size, doesn't slip off shoulder when using the shoulder strap, but can also wear as a backpack with backpack straps. It has both!!! It also has the softest pleather I've ever felt. Great quality liner too! Liner isn't just that cheap satin seen in many bags that falls apart at the the seam. This liner is more like a sturdy, but soft to the touch linen. It's definitely a cotton blend, but its softer and had a sheen. Hardware is also heavy duty and not cheap. Also good to note zipper in front is a fully functional pocket! I thought it was just show, but nope!! I put my keys in there for easy storage and retrieval. So glad I got this bag!! It easily holds my large checkbook wallet, my 10 inch Kobo(kindle), and my Note 9 and has plenty of room left over for a makeup bag and more. It also has two inside open pockets on one side, and a zippered inside pocket on the other. An additional snap pocket is on the outside but under the flap, which is also very roomy. That is where my Kindle goes. By far the best purse I've purchased in a long time. So glad I spent the money. If they have this in other colors I would definitely purchase another. If you are on the fence about purchasing this, don't be, you will absolutely love it! My only gripe is that the zipper for the main compartment opens too far. It's not truly a big deal and some may prefer this way, however, I would prefer the zipper stopped about midway where the current track is now. Also if you are looking for a bag with more structure that sits upright or holds a shape, this bag is not be for you. Otherwise, definitely worth every penny spent!

I purchased this backpack /purse to use as a purse for everyday use. I work in NYC and it is substantially easier to navigate the subways and commute to work by being able to be hands free and keep my bag in my back. I love the small strap across the top, it's the perfect size to be able to quickly sling the bag over one shoulder when you need to.I got the cream color and was blown away by the look and feel of the material. The color is a soft buttery cream, but not yellow and the feel of the faux leather is amazing. I also love the fact that the hardware is a gun metal color - not silver or gold.This purse holds a ton of stuff however I found that it's loose construction caused everything to just jostle around inside. I wasn't thrilled about it but I really liked everything else about the bag so I just worked around the inconvenience. When I decided to purchase a second bag in black (making the mistake of getting a similar style, not the same one) I discovered an organizer insert that is perfect for this purse. What a difference! The organizer solved the issue I had my belongings bouncing around inside the purse and probably provided even more room and storage options. I definitely suggest that if you purchase this product and intend to use it as a purse that you invest in an organizer.I did end up returning the black (similar) bag and have purchased this same bag in black. I haven't received it yet, but I am looking forward to receiving it being able to swap between the two bags depending on my wardrobe choice.

I LOVE this purse. I'm about to order a replacement because mine has broken in several different ways and is hardly usable, but I seriously have put it through a lot. Seriously, I regularly fill it to the brim with beverages and other heavy things and am not exactly gentle with flinging it around regularly and it still lasted a year, I wouldn't have blamed it if it crapped out in the first month. I figure it's cheaper to just replace it every year or two instead of buying an army grade bag for hundreds of dollars, and this way I get a design I love. The detachable straps make it so versatile, it's great for days that I'm walking or riding my bike because it functions as a backpack, and with minimal effort goes back to a purse purse. You can change up the straps however you want, but I usually just leave all 3 on so I can choose how I want to sling it every time I pick it up. The storage space is phenomenal without being too bulky, and even though the main pocket is now filled with several spilled bags of trial mix, sunflower seeds, melted candy, and I don't even know what, there are still plenty of alternative spaces that I can put things that I don't want to get swallowed up in the sea of snack casualties. I love that the look is so versatile too, professional enough to take to my business casual workplace, but edgy enough to bring to metal shows. I just don't think any other bag would cut it after meeting this one.

This bag is worth every penny ! First off, the material is soft/supple to the touch but still feels durable. The hardware is sturdy and gives me the edgy look I was going for. It has lots of pockets and is large enough to hold my Chromebook, phone, notebook, chargers, purse and probably a small makeup kit too. The only drawback is that I think the straps for the backpack might be a bit too long for me. The bag sits lower on my back than I would like. Even when I adjust the straps to as short as they can go, it’s still a little too long. That said, the shoulder strap makes the bag worth it, so now I don’t have to switch bags between work and school. Other slight problem, the flap closure on the front is secured with both a snap and a buckle. I think the snaps are too strong and suspect that I might tear the fabric over time if I keep using them. Meanwhile, having to buckle and unbuckle is annoying to get to my stuff quickly. It would be nice if there were and outer pocket that I could easily reach into toe my keys and purse (the zippered pocket on the flap does not count - it’s too small exposed). All in all, a great buy. 5 stars for style, 4 for practicality and design.
