Sheriff Webb has his hands full with trying to prevent another murder especially now that investigative reporter Simone Jarrett has moved back to town and is determined to solve the murders herself. Her reasons are personal and ones she wants to keep secret, just like herRelationship with Lance that is slowly but surely heating up. This book had twists and turns that made the story a real page turner. I am glad Lance got his chanceAt love!

WOW! Just WOW !Missing At Christmas was mine boggling, but Catching the Carling Lake Killer, truly had me jumping from left to right in each chapter. Simone Jarrett child hood secret of twenty years is the catalyst to all the drama.

This was a good small town mystery with a touch of romantic suspense. I liked the dynamic of a small town sheriff and an investigating reporter working to solve these crimes. The budding romance was nice too.

Books 1-6: Enjoyed reading about these men of West Investigations. Not disappointed with the series.

Simone has knowledge of a past crime and has kept it to herself. Her relationship with the sheriff, her job as a reporter, and new crimes brings it all back. Can she stay alive while trying to solve the latest crimes?
