Prego Basil Pesto Sauce, 8 Oz Jar (Pack of 2)

I make my own pesto and this one is nice in a pinch. It’s good tasting and versatile. Definitely worth trying

Delicious. Great price. Delivered to my door very fast. Wrapped well, no damage upon arrival. No leakage. As always it is versatile, easy to use. A win, win for a quick meal or as an added ingredient. Highly recommend.

Had some of the Prego Pesto on some capellini with chopped Sun dried tomatoes, fresh basil & grated Romano cheese for dinner tonight. It was absolutely delicious!!! I couldn’t be more pleased with this product.

It's not perfect. It's another pesto with soybean oil and not enough olive oil to taste like olive oil. I prefer Alessi. However, Prego's jarred pesto is almost as good as that more expensive refrigerated brand which isn't quite as good as it thinks it is. Prego gives you something which is also perfectly serviceable for less money and with the benefit of a long shelf life so you can keep it handy for a more spontaneous meal. The thing with that other brand is it doesn't last long enough in the fridge to just keep it around in case I decide I want it, and it isn't quite good enough that I would use it for planning a good special meal. I won't complaint too much about less-expensive ingredients at this price (soybean vs olive oil, lack of pine nuts). The only change I would request is for the basil and garlic to be ground slightly finer.

Loved the taste and I actually prefer this product over other jar pesto sauces. Will definitely reorder!

Needed this for a recipe. Worked great, easy to use, and was fine flavored in the recipe. Small jar, but price was okay.

My favorite to add to Barilla Tortillini, or a Chicken Patty meal (sandwich/pasta/ basically anything) Also good with most pastas/ Mac-N-Cheese to add a little (or alot) of snazz. (*Would adore a refill, moving is exensive and this is definitely a go-to meal item*)

Something wrong with this stuff, really doesn't taste right.
