Ghost Rider

Usualy I don’t go 4 fast motorcycles & such but this movie has REALY enthraled me!! Nicolas Cage is a gr8 actor & he doesn’t disappoint in this film. It is just TOO cool, the flaming efects, that I won’t go in2 if u havn’t seen it yet. They cudn’t get a better actor than Wes Bentley 2 play the part he did since he has a natural intense, evil stare that u’l understand wen u watch this movie. Hav fallen in luv w/Spider Bait’s version of song “Ghost Riders In The Sky”, a song dun by many artists yrs. ago. The story line is interestin, if a lit’l diferent from wat I understood about demons. This cums w/a plastic figurine of the Ghost Rider w/his chain. Gave it 2 my son since I’m not in2 collectin things but this is the extended version w/a separate DVD disc about the makin of this movie. Wil b watchin this movie repetedly now that I own it! LET’S RIDE!!

A great movie.

I was never a fan of the Ghost Rider comics, though I would have been if they had been introduced about ten years earlier. This movie is just a great adventure for a fan or someone like me who had never read a single copy of the comic. The story stands up by itself due to the excellent expositions coming from Sam Elliott. Nicholas Cage gives an excellent performance based (sort of) on the characters of Evil Knievel and Elvis Presley. I think that his performance in the conversion scene is nearly as good as the scene where Spencer Tracy played Dr Jekyll turning into Mr Hyde. Of course, Spencer didn't have the wonderful special effects to back up his performance. I must say that even though the plot and the performances by the actors were up to the highest standards, the real stars of this movie were the special effects and CGI graphics. These were far above average and well used, but were not allowed to interfere with the story line and character developement, Which are an important part of any Marvel story. The final touch that really makes the show great is the song "riders in the Sky" performed by the Australian band Spiderbait. I hope that they have albums for sale, because this is an excellent version of this old ballad turned into a hard rock masterpiece. This movie is a "must have" for horror, adventure, and Marvel comics fans.
