Franklin did a fantastic job engineering the 16mm Dynasty. I really appreciate the control and power of the paddle. The sweet spot spans throughout the entire paddle head. It does not twist when the ball contacts hard. Handles very good in dinking situations and fast rallies. Several opponents are impressed with the power as well.The only change I made was removing the grip tape and replacing it with two layers of Wilson brand over grip tape. I found the original grip too plush.

I’m a huge fan of the Franklin brand paddles. I own a few and rotate them. I’ve tried other brands including Joola, Gearbox, and Padeltek but the Franklins just feel the best for me. The 14mm is light and the long handle of the tour dynasty allows me to use my two hand backhand. This paddle allows me to direct the ball where I want. Franklin also has great customer service so if you have any concerns they will help you out.

First, let say the FS Tour Tempo 14 mm I got from Amazon is a quality paddle. Good power, pop and control ... sort of a Goldilocks paddle. I so wanted to love it. But I didn't, and returned it after several games.For a standard shaped paddle the Tempo 14 mm has a very high swing weight. Throw in a little perimeter weighting to help with balance and power then you have a paddle that is heavier than nearly all standard shaped paddles on the market. This ruins maneuverability and hand speed at the kitchen line.The Tempo also has an interesting contoured grip. It feels great when just holding the paddle. But during play it felt too thick, and the contouring prevents you from easily shifting your grip while playing. Kudos for Franklin for being creative but unfortunately it just didn't work for me.Bottom line: I am sure many people will love this excellent paddle. I just wish I did.

I’ve used every paddle from every brand basically. Selkirk Labs, Selkirk, Joola Gen3, Engage, Paddletek, etc. for the price of this paddle, with the extra goodies you get, this thing is straight gas. Perfect amount of control and power. People giggle when they see a Franklin paddle but they stop giggling quick when they get pickled. Durability has been good.Only thing about this paddle is its head heavy so if you’re sensitive to that type of thing you might wanna look at their other shape.

After my first order got lost, I ordered the paddle again and received a used (green ball/scuff marks) and resealed paddled. The round tape seals had been opened and new tape placed over them. Very disappointed after waiting 2 weeks.
