Q: The can doesn't say "aluminum free." How do you really know it is aluminum free?

It DOES have aluminum!!! It is a typo in the description. Rumford does make aluminum free baking powder - and it will says on the container. This item contains aluminum!!

Q: Why doesnt it say aluminum free on the packaging if it is aluminum free?

Their website states, "Baking Powders differ in their reaction to moisture and heat depending on their formulation. Rumford Baking Powder's reaction is approximately 70% with moisture (or in the bowl) and the rest when heat is applied. Clabber Girl's reaction is approximately 40% with moisture and the rest when heat is applied. Some people prefer the Rumford brand because it does not contain the acid ingredient sodium aluminum sulfate."

the regular, don't buy if need aluminum free. Amazon needs to fix product labeling.
