Whats a good portable power supply would work for this?

It's a 5v fan, so pretty much any USB battery pack would work just fine. However, I used a much smaller rechargeable 3.7v battery, and it pumps out plenty enough air for my purposes.

What could i attach to the outlet for airflow redirection?

I couldn’t find anything that shape so I switch to this and redirected air with PVC. SparkFun Blower - Squirrel Cage (12V) SparkFun https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LPUXVWS/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdb_t1_EC2LDb224SKGR I needed 12v instead of USB anyway so this worked a lot better for me. More air flow too.

will the USB power bank gets warm?

It actually blows air pretty good inside my cosplay costume. It does not get hot, but slightly warm. Acceptable in my Storm Trooper and motorcycle helmet. I am glad I bought.
