Great addition to our Hurricane preparedness kit
Has an SOS button the will definitely get some attention (light and siren). With no additional charging, the battery is still at about 70% after a month. Has 2 USB-A output ports and a USB-C input (charging) port, and a headphone jack. AM, FM, Weather band and Weather Alert (WX AL) fast select button. Extendable and storable metal antenna. Carry strap and an LED bar under the charging solar panel. Large hand crank that is very easy to operate to recharge the Lithium Ion battery. The speaker is quality certainly adequate for listening in emergencies. Also has a simple compass on the carry strap. 3 Intensities on the integral Flashlight. The charging LED indication changes in intensity to help you find better rate of charge from the solar charging panel on top.Includes the Charging cable (USB-A to USB-C) and has a Lifetime Warranty!

From large battery to digital tuner, this has some best in class features.
As I have reviewed a few of these radios, I will not go feature by feature but rather talk about any significant strengths or weaknesses in comparison or my opinion of why I'd desire or not desire them.Pros:As mentioned in the title- one of the "best in class" features is the 10,000mAh battery. I have yet to review any with larger than 10,000mAh, but seen several with only 4,000mAh. While you may not get it fully charged with the solar, starting-out with 2.5x the capacity is an obvious benefit.Digital tuner- these might use a SLIGHT bit more electricity over an analog, my experience is when in the areas of weakest signal digital is less apt to fade or lose a station and of course have less static or no static at all. The strength or stability of the tuner is good, in a relatively hilly terrain I was able to pick-up a couple stations that some radios cannot. With terrain being a factor, there is no way to measure the reception in "miles" (this applies to HAM/GMRS/CB radios as well) - this tuner again "best in class".Headphone jack - while this is becoming increasingly more popular, there are still some that don't offer this. IF you are in a true emergency situation, the ability for someone to listen to news, weather or music while not disturbing someone else- whether they are trying to sleep or listen for help or situational awareness - being able to listen to a short bit of your favorite music in lieu of the luxury of sleep can be both restful and stress relieving.Small but significant detail is lifetime warranty with USA support. These devices are pretty simple to operate, very unlikely to fail- if they should... I've thrown Chinese units in the trash after a couple days of no response or no response at all, even when an electronic device failed and had potential of burning my house down.Cons: The display is adequately bright in the dark or indoors, in sunlight I had to shade it well in order to read. This is far from a disqualifying problem, but if you were to wish to use it in a boat while fishing or other bright situation- you may need to use two hands to hold the unit and shade the display. The crank is a little on the flimsy side- do not try to break any speed records in turning the crank to charge it and you'll be ok. While listed as a con, this is the case with most of this category of emergency radios.Bottom line: The flashlight, compass, solar panel, crank, flashlight and other features are all "standard" equipment. My choice in this unit would be based upon the battery capacity and tuner's ability. One other small but potentially significant feature are the dual USB ports- most in this class only have a single port. If you have two phones, a phone and a HAM/GMRS radio that can charge off a USB port this will be an asset.*Final note to anyone using any of these radios: The solar panel will rarely bring you to a full charge with less than full sun for more than 4-6hours. It is a nice feature to have to keep the radio stored in a place where it keeps it fully charged.

Decent emergency radio
This radio is nice for what it it. The buttons do seem to be a cheap plastic, but they do work. The built in flashlight has 3 setting and is not very bright, but will do the job in keeping your path bright in the dark. The speaker sounds a bit tinny, but the sound is clean. The radio is tunable. The solar panel is very small and I am not sure how long it would take in the sun to charge it fully, but I am going to guess a long time. There is crank on the back that you can turn to recharge the battery, but again, it may take a lot of cranking to get the battery charged. It is nice to have those charging methods available though. There is a physical ON / OFF switch on the back of the radio that you need to use before it will operate.

A Good Emergency Radio
"The FosPower Emergency Weather Radio (Model D8) is an essential device for anyone looking to be prepared for emergencies both indoors and outdoors. One of the standout features of this weather radio is its versatility in power sources. With options for USB, solar, and hand crank charging, you can always ensure that it's powered up, even in situations where electricity may be unavailable. The built-in 10,000mAh/37000mWh portable power bank is also incredibly useful for charging your devices on the go, adding an extra layer of convenience. The NOAA/AM/FM radio functionality provides reliable access to emergency alerts and weather updates, keeping you informed and safe during severe weather events. The SOS alarm and flashlight further enhance its emergency preparedness, providing essential tools for signaling for help and navigating in low-light conditions. The compact and portable design makes it easy to take this weather radio with you wherever you go, whether you're camping, hiking, or simply keeping it in your emergency kit at home. Almost perfect
This is a very nice emergency Radio with some very good features and good reception. I like that you can charge it with USB or by solar or by the crank. It has a good antenna and picks up stations easily, FM and a.m. and weather band. You can even use it as a Power station for charging your phone. It has a flashlight, and a very loud emergency siren that you want to be careful not to set off accidentally. Overall, I like this very much. The only reason for a loss of a star is that the buttons do not have easily visible writing on them to know which button does what. The letters are indented, but not colored. I think in an emergency situation where I would have to use an emergency radio I would prefer for the buttons to be more clearly labeled. If they were to fix the labeling, I would give this a full five stars.

Definitely a need in tornado ally
I really like this radio as it doesn't need batteries and you can use the hand crank in emergencies. It is the must have for the Spring where I live. We have storms and tornadoes often, so we need this.

Simple solution to bugout bag
I bought this as another alternative to use in the event that it is needed to charge my phone or use as intended. It's a good size that fits into my bugout gear. I have 2 other solar gadgets as well. I bought this one because it has the charging handle and the solar strip. It was relatively inexpensive for the quality. The radio stations work fine and the sound quality is better than a transistor size radio. While it has a big battery inside, I can't add any batteries for backup. It charged fully, quickly within 6 hours via plugged into the wall. I haven't drained the battery or tried to recharge it yet. I doubt the handle crank will charge the battery fully or as quickly but I haven't tried it yet. The solar panel on top is small and it might struggle to fully charge this radio as well. However I haven't tried that yet either. For now I'll keep it fully charged in the event that I need a quick last resort solution.

Super radyjko

It works well
The media could not be loaded. The function of radio, flashlight, and reading lamp works well. The flashlight has three modes(?) and bright enough. The sound of the radio can be heard well enough, too.

Does what it’s supposed to do.
Battery life to charge an iPhone 15 pro max - will do it once-ish … but as a radio I like this thing. Great little camping radio that can be charged with the crank.
