Better than MSG
This is a staple in our cabinet. Unfortunately it doesn’t stay there long enough so I’m constantly ordering it. Great with scrambled eggs. Great on homemade pizza. Great for dips. Also sticking some in a ceviche is amazing.

Requested it for Christmas, so clearly a favorite
I bought this canned crab meat as a Christmas gift for my father-in-law because he specifically asked for it. It may be one of the more unusual gifts I have purchased, but I took the request as a pretty strong sign that he already knew and liked the product. The 6-ounce can is a convenient size for recipes, and the lump-style pieces make it useful for crab cakes, dips, soups, or other dishes where you want real crab without dealing with shells or fresh seafood prep. Since the label says to drain it before use, it is easy to keep on hand until needed. I did not personally cook with it, so I cannot speak to the flavor firsthand, but the recipient was happy to receive it and had requested this exact item. Apparently, some people want socks for Christmas and some people want crab meat. 🦀🎄

Disappointing purchase
This product is disgustingly disappointing. It has no resemblance in taste, texture or flavor to authentic crabmeat. I am very disappointed .

Best kept gumbo secret!
As a Louisiana born and raised mama in this economy, I sometimes have to change my recipes and try not to lose flavor and quality. I have been using a few cans of this canned lump crab meat in my seafood gumbo to stretch the fresh. It's perfectly delicious and no one is the wiser! You get what you pay for, but I find adding this in right as my gumbo is finished maintains a decent size lump throughout. Not to mention, the price here is cheaper than at Walmart! I call it a budget friendly win!

It's okay, if it's the only crab you can get.
I worked in a cannery in Sitka, Alaska that processed fish and King Crab. Then I worked in a Dungeness Crab cannery in Gouldsboro, Maine for a Summer. I'm a bit biased when it comes to the flavour of crab meat. This would be a 2 on my scale, but it will do when you can't get the real thing.

Delicious with salmon
I bought it just to try it and I was glad. This is a good crab meat, recommend it, my wife loves it, try it with salmon.
