Solid and great size
I ended up using this shield as the cornerstone of my cosplay. It was perfect. People loved that it was metal and it fit in my suitcase! Great value for the cost.

FANTASTIC quality!
This is one of the best shields I've seen on the cosplay market to date. All the kids want to hold it. It's been the best addition to our Cpt. Hero costume!

I purchased this shield for my cosplay company. The quality is fantastic! Looks great too! The performer and others had so many great things to say about this item. If you're looking for Captains shield, look no further!

Overall decent, straps are iffy.
It's weighted well and feel natural to hold. Meaning the weight isn't weirdly distributed and it's exactly what I expected for the most part. The size is about what was expected, 19 inches by 19 inches. It was worth the price and I would purchase again HOWEVER, the straps are my only problem. I can't do much with the straps as they don't fit my arm properly. I bought this for a friend however, I'm considering buying myself one and some new straps.
