I have been into fountain pens for a long time. Most of my pens cost more than this one, some 20-50x as much. This pen, like a few other budget options I’ve encountered, is shockingly good. I can’t speak for overall quality control, but the nib I got is excellent. The line is equivalent to a European Fine, and it’s one of the smoother F nibs I’ve tried. I inked the converter with Lamy Agate, and it wrote well out of the gate. The pen body is nice looking, and the hooded nib is attractive. The inclusion of several cartridges and a converter is an especially nice touch. This holds up against some far more expensive pens, but if I had to put a number on it, it easily sits with pens in the $30-$50 range. It’s attractive, has a medium weight, and writes well for an extremely affordable price. I’m very surprised.

I've read all kinds of warnings about using cheaper fountain pens, but this is so smooth. I love the weight of the pen - it feels solid and like a pen much more expensive than it is. People have commented on it already, assuming it's a $100 pen, it looks and writes so nicely.This would be a great gift for someone interested in fountain pens.

It is a fluorescent green with a gold nib and casing. Writes very well. Cartridge fits well into the casing. Very pleased, especially for the price.

I wouldn’t recommend this fountain pen as a cheaper alternative to more expensive ones. It’s scratchy with inconsistent ink flow which is frustrating. It’s a pretty barrel, but the nib isn’t good.

I like the color, the weight, the look but it doesn’t write smooth at all. Really scratchy.

First of all, this looks suspiciously like a Parker 51. Writes like one too. I'm always shocked when I run across a dupe pen that everyone isn't talking about!I have a collection of about 25 fountain pens from various price points, and this is in my top 5.The only recommendation I have is to swap out ink. The included cartridges are wet and juicy, but smudge easily even a day or two afterwards.

I’m halfway convinced that I was sent the wrong pen by mistake. The one I have is easily superior to pens I paid eight times more to own. I don’t see how it’s possible that they’ve made this pen for this price. It feels heavy and smooth in the hand, it writes smoothly, doesn’t leak, has all the qualities you would expect at a much higher price point. It’s pretty, too; the purplish silver has a luminous quality to it and is nicely accented by the rose gold.If I have one complaint, it’s the ink converter. It’s the cheaper type that pulls back rather than twists and it does make me worry about leaking. So far so good, but I may replace it with a different one. But if you’re using cartridges that’s not relevant to your concerns.

Skips ink, tip don't produce smooth, lines. Makes for sloppy written lines.
