Finally replaced the manual transom straps that takes forever to strap the boat onto the trailer. Sometimes you smack your hands trying to release or tighten it up. The velcro on those manul straps comes loose or it goes missing. These strapinno stainless steel retractable straps works like it should. Took 15 minutes to install using the extra mounting bracket which align it perfectly on a ShoreLand'r trailer. Just came back from fishing at Lake of the Woods in Minnesota/Canadian border for an entire week. Boat did not move out alignment from the trailer Works like a champ. It took probably 5 seconds to loosen strap from boat. My son and I always time ourselves when we launch our boat. Took us 1 minute to prep and launch. Serious fishermen here.. have no time to waste at the loading dock. Next location - Bender Park in Wisconsin.. hitting up Lake Michigan.

Very well built, strong, probably a bit overkill for my 18' boat, but it gives me a piece of mind that my vessel is secure while traveling down the road. The straps are wide, the hooks substantial and the ratchet mechanism very easy to operate in seconds. Goodbye old straps...

Easy to install. Used it 3 times they work great. The only thing left to see is how long they last. Should be quite a few years they are Stainless Steel.

These are a great idea and well-made. They just didn’t work for my application.

The retractable straps attach easily to most trailers. You may need to purchase different length bolts depending on your trailer attach points. That said, they eliminate the cam lever used to tighten standard type straps. These cams rode on the transom and scratched the gel coat om my boat. These retractable straps do not damage the gel coat as no metal contacts the boat hull. The metal hooks are plastic coaverd and have a spring loaded retainer. Get the stainless steel versions of the retractable straps.

The first pair I received didn’t hold up. I was passed the return window. But one thing I can say is that this company turn flip to make things right. My hat is off to these people. Much! Much! Respect. My advice is not to think twice from purchasing from these people. Oh, the second time around, the product had zero issues. They get five stars in my opinion.

What an improvement over conventional ratcheting tie-downs! Installation was fairly simple, and they are so easy to use. They are expensive, but hopefully, they will last many years.
