Only Generated Noise
The MP3s generated by this device are, unfortunately, just garbled, unintelligible noise. I suppose I could have received a defective unit but the build quality leads me to believe otherwise. I listened to the cassette playback through headphones while I attempted a couple of conversions and the sound was fine so the problem was definitely not the source audio. I even tried using thumb drives with different file systems (FAT32 and ExFAT) to see if the problem was related to the speed with which the recorder can write to the thumb drive but the results were the same regardless of the file system. Summary: cassette playback works but MP3 conversion simply does not.

Not the best option
I thought was going to be a good purchase. But ending in very poor option.

I can't recommend this product.
Not a quality product, there is grounding issues with this unit, if your playing a cassette there's a noticeable hum, and if you touch the unit while it's playing the hum is even Louder!
