Really good looking retro fridge. Excellent in every way except that the vegetable drawer has a recessed handle which badly compromises the space inside.

Perfect for one person, I find it quiet and roomy. Freezer is quite small but again, enough for one. The colour is fabulous in my open plan kitchen/lounge and it makes a great feature rather than your average fridge/freezer. Really well made and cute little appliance.

I don't quite understand why this fridge-freezer receives any good reviews. From the moment we turned it on, as per some other reviews here, it began to develop a large block of ice on the back wall of the fridge. This fell off and landed on the bottom of the fridge some days later. Since then, its operation is completely erratic. One moment it appears to be operating normally, and the next, all the droplets of water on the back of the fridge turn to ice, and so the cycle perpetuates. The shelves are also driving us to despair. The fridge is a little on the small side (as is the freezer). This wouldn't be so bad if the accumulation of food did not keep either touching the back wall of the fridge and freezing to the point where we have to throw it away (because there's no ridge on the rear of any shelves to stop food touching the back wall of the fridge), or spilling over the front of shelves and landing on the floor for the same reason when numerous items are pushed back on the shelves to make more space. We bought this fridge-freezer because of its looks, but having previously had a Leibherr for many years which had none of these issues, I've begun to wish I'd just bought another Liebherr. Another annoying issue is that because operation is so inconsistent, much of the food comes out of the fridge quite literally dripping wet. It's really quite disgusting to pull out an open packet of sliced cheese or salami, only to have to hold it over the sink to drain all the water inside the packet away. Lord only knows what bacteria it contains after a few days. It's a worry I've never had before. Also, I registered my guarantee with the manufacturer as recommended. The listing and purchase info stated that it has a 2-year labour warranty, and a 15-year parts guarantee. Whilst registering, I was told that the guarantee would be sent to me. Weeks later, I'm still waiting. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this fridge-freezer for the reasons given.
