I have early-onset osteoarthritis in both knees and hands. I take a prescription medication (non-narcotic) for pain, but I'm still hurting a good bit. I started taking this supplement a few months ago, and have definitely noticed a difference. My joints don't hurt as much, and my muscle pain has decreased somewhat. This supplement certainly hasn't taken my pain away, and I didn't expect it to. However, it helps enough that I'm glad I found it.My one complaint is that when I started taking it, the price was $25, and it's now increased to $35. Due to this cost increase, I find myself taking only two capsules a day (instead of the three I started with), to make the bottle last longer. Unfortunately, this has reduced the positive pain-control effects I first experienced. Vitruvian Natural Lab, please bring the cost back down to the much more affordable price you had a few months ago!

This is a good product but not as good as other less expensive Tumeric that I've tried. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and was afraid to work out. But, I started taking turmeric and It's important to note that you have to take it consistently so that it's always in your system. I noticed a difference in the lessening of pain after about two weeks of taking this product. It's a great alternative to melixocab and ibuprofen without the side effects. I'm working out and taking this so, exercise is very important for those that have arthritis. I think it also helped with my ulcerative colitis by keeping the inflammation of the body at bay. I like the product but the price is a bit expensive. I think the Schwartz brand works just as well for a lower price.

HIGHLY recommended. I was taking 400mg naproxen (Aleve) 2xday for my shoulder - I have bursitis/tendonitis and some arthritis there, confirmed by an MRI. The pain from bursitis/tendonitis is particularly severe at night, and would wake me up several times. I stopped taking the naproxen due to the side effects, (my ankles started to swell badly, and that much naproxen is just not good for you). I was prepared to go to the next step of a cortisone shot into the joint, and then if needed, surgery - the pain was that bad.Thankfully I stumbled on information about turmeric/cucumin extract. WOW. I am blown away by how much this has helped not only my shoulder, but my hands (mild arthritis) and my hip (sacroiliac joint pain due to wearing a walking boot - more about that at the end of this review.)It took about a month to consistently feel the full effects - I still can’t believe how well this works! The mild arthritis pain and swelling in my hands is 100% gone. The shoulder pain is 95% better, and the hip pain is 90% better. When I was taking the aleve, I *still* had pain in all three areas. Yes, it did help a lot, but nowhere near how much the turmeric/curcumin has helped. DEFINITELY TRY THIS!Now for the info about my sacroiliac joint pain: I had to wear a walking boot for about a month due to an injury. I did not know, nor was I informed by my doctor, that I should wear a shoe with a heel of equivalent height on my other foot - a comfy clog would have been a great choice, or the product sold by Evenup. (a quick internet search will show this item.) Apparently SI joint injury/pain is a very common problem and is caused by the leg length discrepancy caused by the boot. I am still furious that my doctor, a podiatrist who should KNOW this, did not warn me about it. So if you ever have to wear one of those boots, make sure your other shoe is the same height so you are not walking unevenly.

1500 mg per serving is a little vague when one serving is 2 capsules. This advertising technique leads the buyer into an arena of dosage specs where the common reference is on a per capsule basis. I would have preferred buying 120 750 mg capsules rather than 60 1500 mg "servings." It concerns me that this marginally manipulative (nothing deceptive, but a little like a car salesman) presentation could be present in the manufacturing integrity of the product. How do you trust 'em when they present this kind of urgent sales spirit?The email I received demanded a 5 star review or they wanted me to contact them and explain "why not?" Well, I didn't contact them simply because I didn't want to engage such aggressive marketing people. This brief text explains everything I would have said if I had spoken directly to them.

I have recommended this to quite a few people with joint issues and arthritis, but it is good for so much else! I have had many joint issues in recent years and this Turmeric keeps the inflammation at bay and keeps me from being in pain. I used to lose sleep over painful shoulders and an injured elbow, but now I sleep well. I also had trouble walking and would often need to wear braces (and even use a cane- even though I am young) due to weak knees with multiple issues. Now, I can walk without all of the issues. My knees do occasionally still dislocate, but it is rare and I am very steady on my feet now. (I also do strengthening exercises for my knees). When there is an issue; for example, I tripped and fell when on vacation, the injury was minimal compared to what it has been in the past and I was able to get up and "walk it off." My partner has severe arthritis in his hip and back. I started giving him the Turmeric each night to see if he would stop complaining and he did. A week later I asked him about his pain and he said, "What pain?" I ordered more to make certain I don't run out of it!

If you believe the label, then you will love this brand. You never know who's honest or dishonest and I really can't tell a whole lot of difference in my joint pain after using other brands so I'm hoping for better results with this one. Haven't used an entire bottle yet. Even if I don't feel improvement, I'll reorder this brand because of the quality of the color (other brands were either bright yellow, which looked fake, or dull brown, which looked kind of sickly). I'm no expert but I think this is a good product and worth trying. I'm 65 and used supplements for 40 years so I mostly know what I'm trying to accomplish and I think this will help me out.
