Works as well as the original, good low profile
Works as well as the original. Loved my original Dust Deputy, was even more excited about the lower profile version. It has lived up to the Oneida reputation of quality, and performance. This fits so much nicer, and coupled with my new Hercules dust collector (Harbor Freight) has really helped the dust levels in the shop

Good way to keep vacuum filters clean.
I replaced an older Oneida cyclone top with this because of the lower profile. If it works as well as the old one, I will be very happy. These keep most debris and dust out of the vacuum filter and are very effective.

Collect sawdust and save your shop vac for not too much money
TransferOnce you get it set up, this thing absolutely works. Virtually zero sawdust goes to your vac. However, setup is a bit involved and the unit has to be carefully positioned on the bucket. During use, the suction from the vac keeps the whole thing together. However, it is easy to knock the unit off when it’s not in use. The manufacturer should come up with a better method of latching this to the bucked. Overall, it’s a good solution and definitely cheaper than other ways to collect saw dust. You may need to get an adapter to connect it to your shop vac.

Good Purchase!
Works just as claimed. Set up is relatively easy. I paired this with a Hercules Dust Extractor and I can catch everything from my tools in the garage from my sander up to my planer. Glad I purchased this…

This thing does not work. SO wanted to even try it.
Don't waste your money. This DOES NOT fit 5 Gallon bucket. I have tried it on 4 different buckets and in all cases the lid will not lock. IT IS TOO BIG. At 60 dollar you would think would be good. pffft, made in the USA, big deal. Guess I will go to china for a QUALITY product

Shop Vac Game Changer
This thing is terrific for removing the vast majority of what the shop vac pulls through which keeps the vac filter clean, and because of that, the vacuum is able to maintain full suction power which is amazing from a user perspective.The lid is easy to take on and off, and the low-profile fits under my miter saw easily which is a huge improvement over the super tall awkward earlier versions.It's lovely to not need to bang the filter clean every once in a while - absolutely worth the investment here, can't recommend enough!

Works very well
Works incredibly well. I use it to prefilter a Delta quiet shop cvac on my CNC machine. Very little, dust, almost none, reached the caniister of the shop vac. That was probably because I let the bucket get too full before emptying it.
