A: You can fit them either way round and swap the coloured washer

A: Try soaking the whole cartridge in a descaler

**Q: Do you have splines with 10mm diameter?**
A: Sorry, I can't recall.

**Q: Are they compatible with bs5412 xz 20 tap valves**
A: I don’t know what BS reference you are talking about but, I replaced my standard 1/2 inch tap with this type and had no problems

These were just the job to repair my dripping sink taps, only caveat was the brass thread is very soft and easily damaged, so be careful when putting you tap back together. The ceramic disc can be removed an re-orientated if they are not turning off in the right direction for your taps. Very easy to turn on and off.
