I love the look, fits in with my decor (okay maybe the fact that I cared about that is what is weird!) it is solid and heavy. The three legs do not make it tippy. The color is a little closer to cream than my picture shows. My pups drink a lot of water so I purchased one for each of my dogs. Hope they like them as much as I do!!!

This is a truly beautiful bowl. I love it! The quality is such that you could use it for many other things; no one would ever know it was a dog bowl. I bought it because my 80 pound malamute/hound? Likes to pick her bowl up and throw it in the air, spreading her food all over. I was looking for a heavy, attractive bowl, and this is a winner! Got the gray, which is nice taupe gray. We’ve had this bowl for a week, and she immediately figured out how to flip it, but didn’t seem to be able to pick it up and I guess the result was not satisfactory as after a few days of harassing it mercilessly she has finally given up. This is a dog who rearranges an L-shaped sectional when she’s bored; she is a big, strong, and determined little bonehead. With all of the abuse she has metted out, the most she managed to do is put a couple little chips on 2 of the legs, which really aren’t noticeable and haven’t affected the function of the bowl. I did put little rubber silicone pads on the feet because she eats in a tiled room, and the stoneware on tile was a grating sound. All in all, I call it a success. If your dog is not a silly bonehead like my Dorcas, you’ll love it!

I purchased the white bowl in “large” size for the dogs water. I really like it.Definitely recommend.It is great quality, love the raised legs and it looks really nice.I will probably end up purchasing the smaller ones now for the food in the future.You can’t find good bowls like this at the stores or pet stores. I’ve looked.I have 2 small chihuahuas under 15 pounds and they don’t need a huge bowl of water but I had originally purchased the medium size and in my opinion it was too small. I like them to have a good amount of water available.{Sharing so this may help you on deciding which size you need}Keep in mind, the item always looks way bigger in the picture.

This dog bowl is a good size. It's raised from the floor about an inch. It is a heavy ceramic and washes well.

The bowl is sturdy and comes in nice colors and has just enough of an elevation that my dogs will use it and not have to bend down so much. They refused to eat out of more elevated bowls but I wanted to slowly acclimate them to higher bowls so they don’t have to bend down as much. And it’s not too high that my Yorkie can’t eat from it. Glad I didn’t give up before finding this.

Wanted an elevated food bowl for our 2-year old Cockapoo. Bought the small as the medium would have been too large, and it works! It’s not cheap, but well made and sturdy— stays put while she eats and easily washed when she is finished.
