Men's Canvas Wide Barefoot Sneakers Casual Style W81V2

All describing words I used in the title apply. These shoes are amazing. I took them to Red Rock in the Mojave and they held up with no problem (or scuffing, even!) to my cuckoo self clambering over rocks and jumping off of boulders. Quick dust busting (I used compressed air but you could definitely use a dust feather or small vacuum) later and they were very much the original black color. Grip is amazing (and pleasantly squeaky on the concrete floors at Home Depot). Fit is like a sock. *Important* The thin insoles they come with really really really help the adjustment period from full cushion to zero drop cushionlessness. I kept mine in and my feet feel so much stronger already. Highly recommend a waterproofing spray but I just took a plain paraffin wax candle and rubbed it all over the upper. After the whole upper was sufficiently waxed (removing the laces really helps!), the color was white from the wax. I took a hair dryer, turned it on high heat, and warmed the shoes with it. The wax melted and it's a very solid natural long lasting waterproofing finish. Highly recommend these. Update: One little thing I really don't like is they're not as wide as I would like barefoot shoes to be. My feet are supposed to have more room to spread out but the shoes are 'normal' width. Keep this in mind. No other problems.

I have extremely wide feet, i.e. other pairs of shoes make my toenails dig into the sides of adjacent toes causing them to bleed. This is the only pair of shoes I have tried that fits well and will last for at least one winter. I They do feel cheap, but I'm hoping they'll last for another few years. They are super comfortable, and I will be buying them again. They look fine, nothing special. I'm used to wearing sandals and flip flops for most of the year, and these shoes feel no different. Thus the transition to barefoot shoes is not something that bothered me. They feel like really stable shoes because my feet are much closer to the ground compared to regular shoes. My only complaint is the laces are starting to fray. I would recommend canvas or waterproofing for winter. The Pros: - The shoes have a wide toe box as advertised and reason for the purchase. - My feet and toes weee happy - Clean look - Very flexible move around in - Affordable The Cons: - Not comfortable if you wear them more then 2 hours outdoors on different surfaces - The sole should be replaced at the time you try them on. I had to use a different pair after 1 walk. Honestly not a bad shoe and would purchase more if the comfortability was better. You do get what you pay for.

I have this style in multiple colors, and I love them all. The wide toe box makes them extremely comfortable. I've been wearing them almost exclusively for the past four years. I wish they'd make a proper brown, though, with a brown or gum sole. (They had a brown and white option at one point that just didn't look right.) This beige is great with jeans, but the color is wrong for khakis.

Great entry point for this kind of shoe (zero drop, wide toebox). Their shape gives them a different look, but that was something I got used to quickly. They are lightweight, cheap and serve as a fashionable foot covering and not much else. If that's what you're looking for, you may want to give these a try. But, I wouldn't consider these if you're looking for arch support or a high impact running shoe.

I bought these a couple years ago and they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. This new design has the opening (after tied) smaller so if you are wearing them with no show socks the tongue (which is also stiffer) pushes at your skin too much making them a bit uncomfortable. The sizing does not match the old design either. I had to order them twice to get the correct fit. Also, the soles are not as bendable. They look nicer though. I'd rather they had kept the old design overall if they were going to compromise in comfort.

I love these shoes. Compliments abound. This is the second time I’ve bought them. They are super comfy and the sole is zero drop with the right thickness. I usually don’t need to untie them for the next wear. The color holds up well. The photo shows the new pair with my original pair that I had just dyed. I keep the first pair for gym shoes now.

I love these wide toe-box, "barefoot" shoes from Whitin; this is the 3rd pair I've purchased, and I rarely wear any other shoe. The quality is decent for the price. I usually get about 9 months of use before the tread goes bald and the insert comes unglued. This is a great length of time for a product of this price, especially considering I wear them as my primary shoe nearly every day for 12+ hours. If you've never used "barefoot" shoes before, it can take a week or two to get used to walking on the balls of your feet instead of your heels, and feeling more texture in the surfaces you walk upon. But this is good for the health of your feet, so I suggest keeping it up until they feel natural. My only real complaint about is the tread can be slick on wet surfaces. It'd be nice if the tread was a tad deeper or had slightly wider grooves. But I realize there is only so much that can be done with a sole as thin and flexible as these, and it's only mildly more slippery than the sole of standard sneakers. But it's enough of an issue that I actively avoid wearing them on wet decks or sport courts. You should definitely give these shoes a try if you have any interest in barefoot shoes, or just an economical, comfortable all-around footwear solution. I doubt I'll ever go back to standard shoes again. Very happy customer!

Son anchos y cómodos para mis dedos, util para cualquier tipo de camino. Suela muy suave. Lo único que no me agrada es que por su material es un zapato que huele mal y hace que huela mal tu pie. Lo solucione con talco para zapatos.

Recomendables, la talla es justo lo que se menciona, el paquete llegó bien, los materiales son buenos y aunque estéticamente son “curiosos”, la verdad hacen que tu pie se sienta muy cómodo

I love these shoes, they look cool and are comfortable. Nice and wide, barefoot feel. They last long too, and I'm hard on them, walking a lot. I like this brand better than Xero Shoes who lie about waterproof winter boots which left my feet freezing in Canadian snow and ice. No animal harm involved int he manufacturing either. They wash well and look brand new.
