They are what they are, I like the colour coded lids too, they keep lettuce nice and crisp, far longer than other containers

This is a nice set of 5 lightweight metal bowls with plastic lids. Ideal for a number of uses, they seem fairly robust and the lids fit well.The seller does claim these are airtight, which is obviously not the case as where the raised edge is on the lids to help you remove them, there is no seal below. Tested by adding water to the bowl, firmly attaching the lid and tipping upside down - water dripped out pretty quickly with no force applied. If water can get out - air can get in.The seller also suggests they're fine for the microwave ... but I'm too much of a coward to try that - I'll stick to my plastic bowls for that!Generally though, a useful set of bowls with lids that will, at least, keep the bugs out.----------For information, I tend to give my "star rating" based on the following system:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – A great product that exceeded my expectations.⭐⭐⭐⭐ – A good product that generally met my expectations and the claims of the seller.⭐⭐⭐ – A reasonable product but could be better for the money/in relation to the claims of the seller.⭐⭐ - A product that definitely needs improvement - poor quality/poor value for money.⭐ - Very bad quality and/or value for money. The larger two are probably too big for me to use much but would be great for a family. The lids are great for keeping items fresh and stacking them in the fridge. When not in use, the bowls stack completely inside each other, as do the lids, so they take up minimal space. Another good thing is that although they are round bowls, they still have flat bottoms so they sit on flat surfaces properly. Th e description says they are microwave safe but this seems unlikely.
