It's a great product
I have the Akorn Jr grill. I use this stone for indirect cooking on it. So far I've cooked small Boston Butt, chicken , baked potatoes/sweet potatoes and other things. I turned it Akorn Jr into a small oven, without burning the food over the direct coal. The stone is a necessity for indirect cooking. I have 2 Akorn Komado grills,(one junior and one full size) and have a stone for both. They're very simple to install. After the coal is started. With the tool , just lift the grate and set the stones on the tabs inside the grill, and your done. As usual, Amazon's shipping and price couldn't be beat.
