Valyrian Steel Game of Thrones Longclaw, Sword of Jon Snow

I bought this sword because like most of you, I'm a fan of GOT. And if you get this as a gift for the GOT you know, I assure you he or she will be thrilled. Most surprising to me, this is an actual sword. It has the weight, heft, and feel of a sword they would have used in GOT times. If I sharpened it, the blade would be more deadly than it already is. Warning: This is NOT a toy folks, definitely not something to get children unless he or she can be totally trusted NOT to take this outside the house. Bonus Warning: This thing is very heavy. And the tip of the sword is deadly. If you drop it, the sword can maim, injure, or kill. For these reasons when you hang it on the wall make sure it is firmly mounted. You do not want it falling on to the floor and injuring a toddler or pet. Review: This sword is quality made. I was surprised just how well it is constructed. And as a bonus it came with the wood shield which makes for an impressive decor in my den. The quality of this sword is outstanding for the price paid. (Note: I was thinking about buying the Long Claw scabbard for this sword, but reviews I read about it is that people were VERY DISAPPOINTED with that. Complaints were serious enough that I decided to pass on purchasing it. Near as I can tell, the scabbard is NOT intended to be worn often, much less to carry a heavy sword in it. People say it falls apart, even when wearing once. I think it is intended for display, not for, e.g., a Halloween costume. Anyway, the sword, shield (mount), and hardware came in a nice box. That box was shipped in an outer cardboard box which protected the contents quite well. Everything arrived damage free, which was nice. If you are only thinking about buying this, get off your ass and send in your payment. Will be one of the better decisions you made in life.

Don’t even think about it just buy it. This replica of Long claw is the real deal. I was looking out the window like a dog waiting for their owner to come home just waiting for UPS. And I was NOT disappointed. I have not found one flaw with the quality, durability. Or the paint. The wolf pomel has always been my favorite part of the sword and its made extremely well the grip feels like real leather. Just have to find a spot to hang it up. Amazing amazing. And I have Dark sister coming tomorrow I’m sooo excited definitely gonna have to find a pick up Blackfyre. And probably aegons dagger.

I was a little nervous about such a blind purchase for the price tag. I was BLOWN away when I received it! It’s beautiful, sturdy, heavy and so realistic. Not one flaw as far as I’m concerned. Received it on time and it was discretely packaged not to ruin an awesome Christmas gift. It NOT sharpened, I’m cool with that. Definitely authentic, with certificates of authenticity. I searched for a flaw but none to be found. For a collection and a fan, it’s perfect. The needle sword is next on my list!

Fantastic! Bought one for my mother for 2025 Christmas and its still in good condition, (February 2026.) Package contents had no damage when it was recieved and opened.

I purchased this sword as a gift for my boyfriend who is a huge game of thrones fan and Jon Snow is his favorite character. Everything arrived together and as pictured, just be sure to check under the styrofoam package for the plaque and certificate in a separate box because it is easy to overlook and at first thought it wasn't sent with my package. The styrofoam packaging slides into a paper sleeve with an image of the sword on it and it really adds to appeal since it is a gift. The quality is excellent- heavy metal, the wolf at the top is made of something that feels kind of like porcelain and has red gems for eyes. The hilt feels and smells like genuine leather (my puppy wouldn't stop sniffing it lol). There were only a couple imperfections I found: a small scratch in the hilt of the sword and some of the paint had been chipped off of the plaque. Both are very minor flaws that my boyfriend probably won't even notice, but for almost $300, this set should be spotless. Still a great buy and definitely worth the money!

Okay, let me just say that this is by far the most badass (pardon my language) thing I have ever purchased off of Amazon. This thing is the real deal, I am a huge fan of the show and am going to start reading the books. This thing is a great conversation piece. I hung it on my wall and plan to do more stuff around it in time. It is very easy to mount and hang, it comes with all the necessary hardware to do so. The sword is package very carefully and secure, the blade even has a plastic lining on it so that you don't get finger prints all over it when handling it. The sword itself is made of all high quality materials and feel very authentic and heavy. The sides of the blade are not super sharp but the tip is, just as a heads up. It even comes with a certificate of authenticity that I plan to frame and hang next to the sword. The plaque it hangs on is also made with quality materials and craftsmanship. Cant wait to show this off, Im so in love with it!

I was hesitant spending this much on a replica sword, but Longclaw is one of my favorite pieces from Game of Thrones and I wanted something that actually felt like a proper collectible rather than a cheap costume prop. I’m very happy I went with this one. In person, the sword has a substantial feel to it and the detailing is what really makes it stand out. The wolf-head pommel is immediately recognizable, the handle and guard look great, and the overall proportions give it a convincing presence when it’s displayed. The included plaque is also a huge plus because this is definitely something you’ll want hanging on the wall rather than tucked away somewhere. For me, this is primarily a display and collector’s piece, and that’s where it really shines. From across the room it looks impressive, but there’s also enough detail up close that it doesn’t feel like a novelty item. It’s certainly expensive, so I wouldn’t recommend it to someone just looking for an inexpensive Game of Thrones decoration. But if you’re a serious fan, specifically want Longclaw, and are willing to pay more for something that feels worthy of being a centerpiece in a collection, I think it’s fantastic. Five stars from me. Every time I walk past it, I end up looking at it.

The sword is a beautiful edition to any "Game of Thrones" collection. I purchased this for my son along with several banners. It looks really amazing on the wall. It is heavy and exceeded my expectations. The only issue that you should be aware of is that the blade will rust very quick if you don't keep it oiled. It hung on the wall for only 2 weeks and rust spots started appearing. The rust spots are actually my fault because I didn't apply any oil (that and my son always handles it). So overall I give it a very solid review but seriously if you order this item then oil lightly it every week.

Got my sword after 3 months & look the bottom is bent in & the holder has marks & there’s no hole on the back to hold it
