80V 26 in Cordless Hedge Trimmer, 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger

Arrives very sharp as it should. Not too heavy even with its long cutting neck. Battery, so far, lasts longer than my trimming job, so I'm happy.

This hedge trimmer has plenty of power and makes trimming a much faster job than doing it with a smaller trimmer. The 26-inch blade covers a lot of area, which really helps when working on longer hedges and bushes. I also like being able to grab it and start working without dealing with gas, cords, or trying to get an engine started. The battery system is convenient, especially if you already own other Greenworks 80V equipment. Overall, this is one of those yard tools that makes a job I normally put off much easier.

Amazing. Powerful, ready to use, gets even tough jobs done. It's heavy because it's the 80v, but if you need a brute, this is your machine.

This thing is amazing, I’ve had a little wonder gas powered, it still works great when I can get it to run for more than 10 minutes at a time, decided to a battery powered one, this is awesome, cuts through very thick branches, it’s lite, the fact that you can cut it both directions is great, I read many reviews on many on battery powered units, lots of complaints about quality, having to install handles etc. this baby is ready to use out of the box, just pop the battery in and go, there’s no question about the value for the money, I used it several times and figured I would have to charge the battery, after popping the battery in the charger it still had a nearly full charge wow, very impressive, also many complaints about others when rotating the handle it was to difficult to use because you have two switches one on the handle the other the actual trigger, didn’t have any problems the safety on this one you are able to hold in almost in any position, this is a well designed unit that makes it easy to use, end of story!

Heavy but if you’re up to a bit of a workout well worth the money. The 26” bar with it’s large openings makes quick work out of our hedges and will easily cut 1” branches.

This is the best trimmer I've had in many years of homeowner landscaping. Gas trimmers in the past were good but got too heavy as i got older (78 now) so I switched to the greenworks 40v light model about 10 years ago which was fine but I always wanted more power. This 80v model has plenty of power and the added weight was a concern when i ordered the 80v but since it completes the work in half the time weight is not a problem for me. Safety features are upgraded from my old 40v and are good but still need to be very careful. This is the "non pro" model whcih seems right for home type work, not sure you get much more from the pro as a homeowner.

Mainly got this to clear patches of sunflowers which have a thick woody stalk, and it’s done very well. The closest foot or so of the bar has longer teeth for larger diameter stuff. I started off slow and careful, but this thing rocks and now I just go with fairly reckless abandon and it doesn’t mind at all. It comes with a smaller battery than some of my other Greenworks stuff, but it’s lasted an hour of heavy cutting 3 times now. Showed one bar when I was beat but it still outlasted me. Very satisfied with the weight, maneuverability, and length. It comes with a battery and charger, great value for the money if it only lasted one season but it still works like new and I expect this to keep performing for years.

Have used it this past spring. Battery easily lasts 2 hours trimming hedges, with up to 1/2 inch branches. Operation requires both hands on the handle, a good safety feature. Rotation of the trigger handle is a great help in getting vertical and horizontal trims. It has a wide cutting swath. A bit on the heavy side for me.
