Draw Knife with Oakwood Handle (DK1)

Bought this to craft a primitive juniper bow. Works great.

This was my first draw knife purchase and I’m loving it. Easy to use and to keep sharp.

Super easy, great little tool. Used to debark some fresh pine, was super easy. Great one time use, the metal snapped on my final pass. You get what you pay for, but for a single project this was a great purchase.

Nice working with this draw knife. Makes smoothing out spoon handles and more easy work. More aggressive than a spoke shave and works well pulling or pushing.

I've bought a lot of sharp tools, but I can say this is the first one I've bought that when I opened the tool some free Band-Aids fell out. It's pretty funny but to me that is the company confidently saying "It's sharp. We know." The handles look like they have a cheap finish like the handles on cheap axes and hammers, but it's actually smooth and comfortable in the hand. Love it.

I used this product for an hour and it snapped in the same spot that was shown on a review on here. That hour I used it was amazing tho. For being a small blade it did some work! Lol. If its possible to get a replacement that would be great..but if not I would buy another one

EDIT the company is real chill and helpful and sent me me another one. Another review said this was a woodworking draw and not an arborist draw and it makes a ton of sense now especially using the new one it's amazing at detailed spot and obeys well but I'm gonna treat it like the delicate rice paper egg 🥚 that it is and prolly get a Mora for the rowdy jobz. It broke. Super bummed cause it i loved it. Had two mora draw knives in the past and they were hardy af. I actually like the grind angle, performance and handles on this baby more but u can see how small the tang bit was that snapped. Clearly a design flaw. Bummed.

It works great, but you do know you use this tool with the bevel side down. You can guide it through the wood and cut what you want off. If you use it with the bevel side up it is hard to guide and it wants to dig in. use it with the bevel side down. and for the money, it is a great tool and very sharp

La lame a une bonne coupe. Les poignées sont confortables. la protection en cuir fait le job. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon produit.

Super Ziehmesser. Zu dem Preis nur zu empfehlen. Scharf. Liegt gut in der Hand. Konnte meinen Stamm wirklich schnell und ohne große Mühe entrinden. Selbst einen Zweiten Stamm konnte ich damit schnell mal etwas schmaler schälen damit er in die Aufschraubhülse passte!!

incomplete delivery the draw blade comes with a leather blade cover, which the seller dint send along with the blade very un professional attitude :(
