Sakkas Marigold Embroidered Fairy Dress

I bought this dress for my daughters outdoor wedding. Her colors are red and this seemed like an appropriate dress for the affair. The color is a deeper red, almost brick but not quite. The material has almost a denim look to the variegated colors with some black mixed in. The details of the beading are quite intricate and well placed. The dress is fancy without being overly done. The staggered length of the dress is perfect for wearing with boots and being able to show them off. The dress is heavy without feeling bothersome, just feels like good quality material. The dress has a very earthy, country, gypsy vibe and is quite fun. It fits perfect and I love the full skirt that flows and spins so fun. Makes me feel like a young girl twirling around again. All in all this is a quality made garment that is comfortable and beautiful. So glad that I took the chance and got the dress. Could not be happier with the fit.

I love the dress. I got S/M in purple and in red. I wear size 4-6, 5'3. It arrives to my ankle. It has some shear fabric at the bottom that makes it looks feminine. The metallic threat does not bother me. It is very small, and the dress can be worn at night or holiday parties. This is my 3rd Sakka dress. the purple is a dark purple. The red color is a deep red. I has two tones with some darker color within the seams. Both colors are good taste, not bright. My boyfriend told me that this is the style of dress I should be wearing. Feminine and romantic!Update:I followed one of the reviewers' advice. I mixed 2 quarts of water with 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of sea salt. Soak the dress in the solution over night to fasten the color. Hand wash it in the machine (but keep inside a laundry bag made for washing underwear in a machine), then, dry in low temperature. The dress was a little too big before. Now it shrank to my size 4. The fabric became thicker but soft like cotton. So nice! I am buying another one and follow the same procedures.I also removed the silver thread to make it look less Halloween. It came out easily.

I love this dress. It's even prettier in person. The details are beautiful. After I received the one in Turquoise Blue, I decided to buy it in Red as well. In the back of the dress, there's a ruching detail that makes it stretchy so it can form to many body types and sizes. To loosen or make it tighter, you just adjust the tie in the back. As far as sizing goes, I'm a size 14 and the L/XL was a good and comfortable fit for me. It has a bit of room and could probably fit a 16 as well. I'm always worried about my stomach, but I feel like this dress hides it pretty well and makes me not feel subconscious about it. I am short though, 5'2", and this dress is a bit long on me. It falls to mid-calve. But it's not a big deal to me because the bottom part of the dress is a little see through, which is another pretty detail. Like I said, I love this dress. I will definitely be buying more of this brand because it is a quality product.

This dress is a beautiful color and design, one that got me lots of compliments. Truly felt like a little fairy princess in this number. It fit perfect - was not too tight(definitely would not have kept if it didn't fit). However, after the second time wearing it, the bust split open on one side (and I'm a B cup). I walked around work for a while before noticing it, my bra on display. It was an entertaining day for many coworkers who either somehow didn't notice or perhaps enjoyed the view too much to warn me (eh eh). Anyway, I sewed it back together, but now I'm gun shy, so to speak. What if something else rips? What if the other side of the breast area rips? As I am a new customer to this company and have only bought about 5 items total through Amazon or directly from their site, I'm not entirely sure if the quality is lacking in all products or if I just got unlucky with this one. I still recommend buying this item. It really is pretty and unique.

I am 5'1', and I ordered a S/M size. It is a very pretty dress, made to be loose and flowing. The designs are shiny threads twisted and sewn to the fabric. Unfortunately, this does not fit me. The asymmetrical hem touches the ground, which makes it a little too long. In fact, I walked on the edge of the dress by accident when I tried on the dress. For another observation, I am 85/65 for chest and waist and it is difficult to pull the waist sashes in enough for the silhouette of the sort I like. The length might be fine for those who want to wear heels with it. For barefoot wandering, if you are of the shorter sort, skip this lest you trip and fall.And now for why it is not a perfect 5 stars: The fabric is thick enough, but it also has a lot of loose threads. The majority seem mostly secure, but two of the insecure ones I checked was part of the decorative stitching. That means the pretty designs on the dress will come apart eventually. If you are not handy with a needle to bind all of those down, you might be buying a dress that will look considerably less pretty in a few months. Also, the loops on the front for the corset-like look are not fully dyed. You can see white, which throws off the look of the dress.

Very beautiful, comfortable and high -quality dress. I am very happy that I bought this dress for a trip to Dubai. I had a lot of compliments. The dress is made of pleasant light breathing fabric. I have 16 American size and dress came perfectly. Thank you!

This is my favorite dress! I have worn it to brunch, art & wine festival, theater. I get so many compliments every time I wear it. I wish it was still available as I would buy other colors!

I never leave reviews but I am BEYOND happy about this dress. I got it for my Halloween costume as a witch (we are going to a Renaissance fest) and it is beautiful and it flows so well and it is just perfection. I wanted to take a picture for the review but it is so much better in person. I thought i wouldn't like the sparkle in the threading on the front, but it is very pretty. I got a L/XL but wanted a M/L (not an option) but I like how it fits, even though it is a little loose it is slightly adjustable and it is very comfortable. Super excited to wear it!Oh, and I'm Clay's wife (we share a Prime account).

I ordered the grey fairy dress. It’s gorgeous, well made and nicely adjustable. The subtle glitter in dress really adds to the beauty. I am 5’3” - 35-26-35+1/2 and I don’t feel the dress is too big, nor is it too long. I’m glad I can tighten it. I’ve had lots of compliments. I wish the other colours wouldn’t sell out so fast.
