more capacity than I'll ever need
Love the rack mounted capability of this. In the past, I've had to cobble up something or tape art-net controls and nodes into things, so the rack mount certainly is a much needed upgrade. The 8 channel capacity is HUGE, the amount you can run through this is more than most people will ever use. This is on par with equipment used in large theaters and huge stage shows. I had no issues with long latency or dropped packets, and the dmx signal was stable and responsive. I was running cat6 cables, and regular amazon xlr cables for those who want to know. This is easy to use, if you really understand the art-net protocol. The price is what I'd expect it to be for something this versatile

Ready for next level?
This device takes your lighting project to the next level with control for multiple universes and the ability to separate your control station from the lighting rig with only an ether net cable between them. Your computer connects to this device over ethernet which then connects to your lights.A good understanding of ArcNet is needed to use this and the manual doesn't cover this since this is an industry standard protocol that already has plenty of documentation. Just as can manuals don't tell you how to drive, this one doesn't teach you ArcNet.I like that it's rack mountable as a professional device like this should be. You can mount it with your other gear to keep things protected and organized.

Lighting up the holidays
I’ve been running large-scale holiday light displays for years, and as my setup has grown more complex, I've needed a solid way to expand my DMX channels without signal dropouts or headaches. This ArtNet DMX interface delivers exactly what I was looking for—professional-grade performance, flexible configuration, and rock-solid reliability. The 8 optically isolated XLR outputs are a major plus, keeping my control system safe from electrical interference while ensuring smooth transitions and effects across hundreds of fixtures. I can run everything from intricate pixel-mapped sequences to synchronized moving heads, and this unit handles it all without a hitch. The signal remains strong even over long runs, and I haven’t encountered a single flicker or lag.Setup was straightforward (as long as you know your way around ArtNet), and the onboard LCD screen makes tweaking settings on the fly easy. The ability to independently configure each DMX universe gives me a level of control I didn’t easily have before, and being able to position this closer to my lights while running Ethernet from my control software has cleaned up my wiring setup significantly.I also appreciate the rack-mount design. It integrates seamlessly with my other gear, keeping everything neat and protected. While this interface is packed with features, it’s not necessarily beginner-friendly—there’s a learning curve if you’re new to ArtNet and DMX networking. But if you know what you’re doing, or are willing to invest the time to learn, this is a fantastic piece of hardware. My holiday displays have never looked better, and I know I’ve got room to expand even further next year. This is the kind of reliability and control I need for serious lighting setups.

I am a newbie. I really like this unit none the less! Does what it says it will do with no problems.
I have over the years accumulated a number of items that I have been using independently of a DMX interface. I am presently trying out various types of PC programs that are free to control the interface. I really do have much to learn. In all truth, I am glad to have this unit which seems to work well with all of the devices that I have. I cannot wait until I become considerably more proficient with this so that I can have all of my devices work from one central control. Knowing that I am on a path toward this is certainly rewarding and enjoyable! I wish I could give a more comprehensive perspective regarding this unit, but for the little experience that I have gotten thus far, I can certainly say that I have had no issues with the unit and have found it to be a wonderful unit that does what it says it will well!

Reliable DMX Interface for Serious Lighting Setups
This ArtNet DMX interface is rock solid. The 8 isolated XLR outputs keep everything running smoothly, even with long cable runs. Setup is straightforward if you know your way around ArtNet, but the manual is light—expect a learning curve if you're new. It’s built like a tank, rack-mountable, and perfect for expanding complex lighting setups. If you need stable performance for a large-scale light display or event rig, this is a great choice.

Impressive quality rack to control lighting!
This 19" eight-channel ArtNet DMX Interface rack is surprisingly easy-to-use and highly versatile. It fits well as a built-in for an audio-visual-multimedia booth. It also works well for regular home or business use (when you control lights around property). Once you've learned ArtNet, this really is a piece of cake to use! It is well-constructed. It is also more affordable from many similar racks that are found in music and electronics stores. This is great for any home, church, event hall or venue. It works well for a band or for just controlling holiday lights and displays.
