- The main concept of this project is to design a device for the concept of wireless power transfer to eliminate the use conventional copper cables and also current carrying wires.
- The concept of wireless power transfer was introduced by Nikolas Tesla. This power is made to be transferred within a small range only for example charging rechargeable batteries etc. For demonstration purposes we have used a battery and LED that operates by using wireless power.
- Therefore by this way the power gets transferred through primary coil to secondary coil that are separated by certain distance around 3cm.
- Wireless power transfer (WPT) systems allow power to be transferred from one electrical network to another without the need for wires or exposed contacts.
- Very convenient, safe and reliable due to elimination of direct electrical contact, the power transfer unaffected even in hostile environments such as snow, water, dirt, wind, and chemicals, and. provides galvanic isolation.
