Major Mauve, for me, is the color of my lips but better (and a little darker). The formula is what's best about this, though. It glides on smoothly and the shape of the angled pencil works well. In its place I purchased this Laura Geller Radiant Rose color and it works very well. It goes on smoothly and is not waxy. It has very good staying power and does not have to be frequently re-applied. I have light skin and the Radiant Rose color is very natural - almost the same color as my lips - which is exactly what I wanted.

Very easy to apply and works great! You can’t go wrong with any Laura Geller product. My granddaughter just sent me two Laura lipsticks to try so I’m now a Laura lipstick gal also. The lipstick is the best I’ve ever used! No bleeding into fine lines soft and creamy and lasting power!
