Everything works perfect.
I have had no problems. This will likely be my last Windows computer, though. I believe that for my purposes an Android based laptop will suffice. Windows has become bloated and less intuitive.

This is a nice little machine and a good seller.
I ordered this unit to plug into my TV. I received the wrong power plug, and reached out to Trycoo who promptly sent me a replacement. The machine itself works very well as a media center and runs the games I like through my steam account. I'm not sure how well it will run brand new games as I have not tried, but I suspect you wouldn't want this as your main gaming platform. For what I want it to do, it's exceeded my expectations and the fact that the seller was immediately helpful gave me the confidence to order a second machine for another TV in my house. There are a lot of combinations of processor, ram and storage when you're looking at these mini PCs regardless of vendor, so do some research to make sure you're getting the specs that suit your needs. You can Google comparisons between the various processors to see how they match up. I got the Ryzen 5500u with 16gb of RAM and 500gb of storage. I recommend this unit and it's seller.

A Problem Child Device
This mini PC was a problem child for me. Out of the box I could not get 4k 60hz to work via HDMI OR Display port. I installed full AMD software and drivers. But without any sort of "motherboard drivers" info, you're flying blind. Then the blue tooth radio started freezing up, which was a problem given I was relying on it for audio. The final straw was WiFi going out entirely on a new Windows 11 install. This was the final third strike and so I took numerous photos of the device, boxed it back up, and returned it. I took the photos because I had an issue in the past where a manufacturer claimed damage on a device that I sent back in pristine shape. My photos won me my case. Lesson learned!

awesome for the price
If, like me you have had a complete and utter potato thats 15 years old, you're gonna love it. I upgraded to 32gb ram, and adjusted it to run at 35w instead of the 15 it was defaulted to. It runs very fast, no wait loading for most apps, startup/restart is very quick. CPU and GPU dont overheat. I get about 60fps (or better) on any game i've tried so far, albeit i dont play very heavy games (DayZ, Rocket League , Fortnite, Diablo II Resurrected, Guild Wars 2). Two issues i have... explorer doesnt display icons on taskbar unless i clear explorer cache and restart it, and only 3 out of 5 headsets i have tried work (terribly) with the mic. My Razer Blacksharks, and Xbox headsets work for output, but input from mic would require screaming to hear any sound. The ones that worked are cheap headsets not meant for gaming and i wouldnt want to assault anyone's ears using them lol. I'm mostly happy with the purchase, as i can work around the two main issues, and otherwise it runs great!

Powerful, efficient Mini PC with an unlocked BIOS, let down by half-populated RAM
This compact Mini PC with a system-on-chip design delivers strong performance for its size. The AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, though a few years old, handles daily tasks efficiently with low power consumption, drawing about the same power as a BCM2711 while outperforming it significantly. The BIOS is a standout, fully unlocked for advanced users, allowing extensive tuning and customization, making it ideal for prosumers. The case feels a bit cheap but is fairly sturdy, lightweight, decently ventilated and comes with a bracket for wall or VESA mounting. Its magnetically attached lid is convenient for upgrades but may be a drawback depending on deployment. Thermals are excellent; even under heavy all-core stress tests, the CPU stayed below 80°C (well under its 105°C max) without excessive fan noise. Connectivity is solid, with dual Ethernet ports (RTL8125B 2.5Gbps and RTL8111H 1Gbps) and a user-upgradable RTL8852BE Wi-Fi 6 card. Wake-on-LAN worked flawlessly on both NICs. The 512GB Kingston OM8SEP4 NVMe SSD is DRAM-less and runs warm, but it’s responsive for everyday use and includes a basic heatsink, a nice touch. The biggest downside is the single stick of DDR4 RAM (PC4-25600 CL22), which limits performance in this dual-channel system where RAM doubles as VRAM. Out of the box, it scored 14,488 on PassMark CPU Mark, with a physics score of 561 frames/s and a memory mark of 2,475 (22,611 MB/s threaded). Adding a budget dual-channel RAM kit boosted scores to 15,511 CPU Mark (7.06% higher), 767 frames/s physics (36.72% higher), and 2,609 memory mark (5.41% higher), with threaded memory performance nearly doubling to 44,515 MB/s (96.8% uplift). This upgrade is critical for multitasking or multimedia workloads and should be factored into the cost. I added an SSD heatsink, but the stock one was sufficient. This Mini PC shines as an office machine, multimedia set-top, or Linux box (Debian Trixie, Arch Linux and Batocera ran perfectly). It came with Windows 11 pre-installed, suspends to / resumes from RAM flawlessly on Linux, and idles at ~1.1W, just 0.1W above its powered-off state. Overall, this is a capable, efficient system with a power-user-friendly BIOS. The single-channel RAM holds it back, but with a RAM upgrade, it’s a good value for the price. EDIT: After 7 months of daily use a Linux-based multimedia set-top (Batocera w/Kodi), I have not experienced a single crash, freeze, or issue of any kind. I also haven't re-pasted the CPU, so it's still running on the stock TIM, and it's still running cool so the OEM paste must be half decent. My recommendation is even stronger now than it was, knowing how stable the hardware is, but I also wish even more that it came with the RAM fully populated.

Nice and Fast
This mini PC is great. Now, I'm not a gamer so I can not speak of it on how it handles gaming, but it's great so far as a desktop computer. The boot time is basically instant, no lag. Processing standard apps, web browsing, etc. is great. I like that they integrated a 2.5" drive holder into the cover to be able to add a secondary HDD. Yes, you could add a second m.2 drive if you use a 2.5" m.2 drive carriage to SATA. The other great little feature I've found is that the cover of the PC is held on magnetically. No need to find a screw drive to open it up. The CPU fan is quiet but like any CPU fan, it will speed up when the CPU calls for it but even then, it basically sounds no different than a laptop CPU fan speeding up. All in all, so far it's great!

A Super Practical Value & Better Performer Than Intel N Series
Had the R5 5500U version of this for a couple of months now and I have no negatives to report. The Trycoo is the same as a Paladn with different branding, right down to the label of the single module of 16GB RAM it comes with. Very servicable and upgradeable, as I immediately added another 16GB RAM stick right out of the box to give it 32GB of Dual Channel memory. Great speed and flexibility as my HTPC/Media PC connected to a 4K TV...and it stays quiet when streaming 2160p movies and 4K action camera video -- which is what it is mainly dedicated to. If you need a newer compact machine which can handle everyday tasks on Windows 11, this is a good budget choice with a higher core count and better integrated graphics than Intel offerings.

EXCELLENT Computer
I've been a full time computer tech for 24years, and this is the best thing to come along in all those years. It is rock solid, Fast, and I installed a 1TB SATA drive for extra space (easy to do) I highly recommend this ""GIANT"" performing Mini-PC. You might want to also get a Seat Belt to hold you in place when this BEAST roars up.

Toller, kleiner Computer

Trycoo Mini PC AMD Ryzen 5 5500U
