Don't get frustrated, it works, it just takes some technique that you will end up crafting even without realizing it. The rings will eventually start hitting the mark, but in the beginning you may question if it is even feasable to get a ring to hook. The product has a kid friendly side and a 21+ side. The kid friendly side uses a wooden peg that you move back and forth every time a ring is scored and when the peg reaches your opponent, you win. Don't take turns, unless you want it to take forever, this is a rapid fire event. Flip the player board over for a shot glass board with the same concept. When the shot glass gets to your opponent, you win and the loser fills the shot and takes it. We got this for camping where I can refine my technique against my kids and then as night falls, challenge my wife to some duels. No issues. Just don't screw in the hooks any further than they are, you want them out away from the post for easier hooking.
