Sounds amazing. The effects are excellent but the real star of the show here is the amp sims. I use it for DI home recording and having a very broad range of fully customizable amp sims has been a godsend. Using the Tone studio software is simple and intuitive and you can really create some amazing patches with this thing. The built in ones are pretty solid as well

Lots of effects on this small pedal. Ive used it for many gigs already. This one is a go-by pedal for me. easy to set up tones. very versatile pedal. Love the tone with my orange amp.

It is really as simple as plugging in and playing. Came quick. Works wonders.

I got this back in Feb, 2019. So I have had time to explore the patches. It is well laid out for editing and saving patches.There were many good patches to work with right out of the box. The size is smaller than expected but it does not take up much room in my studio. The sounds were excellent. I went to the web and dialed up my favorite guitarists on U-Tube and played along and I was easily matching their tones, effect settings. I do recommend looking up the Boss GT-1 u-tube videos, they are great for making that final decision to get one of these. The price was excellent, almost scary low priced. The quality of the effects are assume. I had been using my very old Boss GX-700 for years in the studio. This GT-1 come very close to fulfilling all my studio guitar needs. I miss an On/Off switch, it`s your guitar cord that turns on the unit, if you leave it plugged into the GT-1, your draining batteries (I bought the power supply from Amazon) . It comes with an patch editor program (downloaded) and can be used as an USB Audio interface. I cannot comment on the Audio interface section since I use other higher grade interfaces for my recording needs. Best feature is the way it sounds. Boss always has made great guitar pedals. It mixes well in my final mixdowns. Just the right amount of color (or none) as I need. Great purchase, sweet price. It would make an excellent gift for any guitarist.
