Dry/damaged/unruly hair...this is a must have! My hair is unruly and looks damaged, like it can't decide if it wants to be straight or curly. Crown area is the worst! Love how this made my look. Will be taking to my stylist to use when I get a pro blowout

I’ve never used any product like this before but after trying it, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go without it! It’s a rice water concentrate so a little goes a long way. It foams up and gets sudsy like a shampoo. I find it really helps give my hair that extra cleanse it needs when it’s dirtier and greasier than usual. It leaves my hair feeling so clean and soft afterwards.

I’m about half way through the tube and I can see growth in my temples and some of my edges where it was getting light. So far so good and I am hopeful to see even more growth. 4 stars cause the smell is not very appealing. Smells like rotten rice lol. Not a dealbreaker nor a huge tax to pay if it’s gonna help my hair grow back lol. Overall i recommend.

I was really excited to try this new product from Briogeo as I am a big fan of their line of don’t despair repair in particular. I thought it was a cool idea how you just use a little bit add water and it lathers. I understand that it is meant to be low lathering, but I had to use more than they recommend and I honestly got about four uses maybe five before the bottle crumpled up and I wasn’t able to use any more.I’m going to try Kitch next— the bars and see how that works. I wouldn’t highly recommend other than it was highly moisturizing and a wonderful product. It just does not warrant the $30 price tag for the amount of uses.

I love this stuff, especially for travelling. It comes in a tube that's about 3x the size of a small tube of toothpaste and is very concentrated. It works up a nice lather that feels very nourishing. It leaves my scalp and hair feel clean and doesn't make my fine hair flyaway. The scent is pleasant. Alittle goes a long way. I would definitely get again.

Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair Rice Water Protein Shampoo Concentrate made my dry hair much softer and healthier looking. I am surprised since usually it is the conditioner that helps improve the hair's condition. It barely has any detectable scent.Even though this is a smaller bottle, being only 3.8 oz, it is a concentrate. That means you need less of it. It is the thickest shampoo I have used and you have to squeeze it out of its tube. Its directions say that long lengths should only need 1-2 tablespoons, but I found I needed to use more to feel like it had a sufficient amount of suds. I will try using less in the future to see if I can make this shampoo last longer since it is a really great shampoo for my hair type.See its listing for hair types that shouldn't use a protein shampoo. I used this Briogeo Shampoo Concentrate this morning and I am so happy with the results! It is a shampoo concentrate in a recyclable tube and comes in a recyclable box. When they say concentrate, they mean it! It’s thicker than a toothpaste or lotion. About 1/2 teaspoon, reconstituted with water as directed, was more than enough to thoroughly wash my chin length hair. Although this shampoo is for extremely damaged hair (mine is pretty healthy), it definitely made my hair noticeably better in several ways . I love how this shampoo gave my hair a marked increase in body (it’s usually flat and without any body at all). My hair was easy to dry and style, and it feels extremely silky and smooth. My hair tends to respond well to protein based treatments, and this is another one I can use with confidence to give my hairstyle more pizzazz, shine, body, and hold. I also love that this is a more environmentally responsible option than buying big bottle of watered down shampoos. I’ll buy this again!

I just washed my hair using this product. My hair isn’t terribly damaged anymore because it’s been a year of working to restore my hair after a bleach job and over processing of my hair. My ends still need work though so I really wanted to try this mostly on me ends. My hair is thick and naturally dry. I used as instructed: applied to the palm of my hand and emulsified with water to get a lather. I then applied to my wet hair. It didn’t seem to lather much while on my hair. I used more, but never quite felt the lather. I left it on a few minutes. My hair felt a bit hard and stiff. I rinsed it off and applied my usual conditioner. My conditioner helped to soften my hair again. I then styled as usual. I didn’t notice much difference to my ends after styling. I know this is a well known brand with a good reputation so I’ll give it another try next week. Perhaps my hair isn’t as damaged anymore so it’s hard to tell if this works. It is pricey so I would only buy this if I was still experiencing a lot breakage as had several months ago.
