Skratch Labs Super High Carb Sport Drink Mix, Lemon Lime, 8 Packets

Used Skratch to load up for a 25K trail run that took me 4:50. Coupled with on-course nutrition and hydration, I had plenty of energy for the nearly 5-hour effort, still running strong (if slowly) at the finish. I will be using Skratch again. The Lemon-Lime flavor was agreeable and not overly strong - a good thing when I was consuming about 200g per day for the 3 days before the race. The only possible negative is that it doesn't mix super easily, and it's really gooey if you spill any. Probably unavoidable, and pales in comparison to its benefits.

I've tried all the gels, gu, etc. This seems to be the best solution to balance cost savings, carb intake, and overall nutrition. I have done five Ironman races and the last one I did my last 6 weeks of training and exclusive race day nutrition. My solution might not work for everyone but I found it super easy and overall able to hitting caloric intake. Here was what I did on Ironman race day and it worked perfectly (may take some personalization): 1 24 oz water bottle -add 20 scoops of Skratch (seems like a lot but that's roughly 3 servings) -add 3 LMNT sodium packets or 3000mg of sodium -break open and add 10 sport legs capsules in powder form -totals 4500mg of sodium, 300g of carbs -mark with a sharpie 9 notches for 10 servings, every 10 miles drink the sludge to the next mark -supplement with water, mortal hydration, and gels as needed and swap other bottle cages with disposable bottles -at T1 and T2 add to transition bags a small water bottle (6 oz) with 5-7 scoops of scratch. Slam that while in each transition. -trained doing roughly the same mix for training rides 60-110 miles long. Easier then gels, less mess, more cost effective. -Taste isn't amazing but isn't bad. Carbs and calories is where this stuff gets you ahead. Will use this same formula going forward.

Works great, easy to mix, light in taste. Great product

A bit pricey. But they get the job done. You have to mix them in a particular way (the instructions that come with them are clear) so they dissolve. The taste is not bad. Surprisingly, not horribly sweet. No digestion issues. They powered me through my 50+ miles this season. No complaints.

Took this mix on an 80 mile bike ride called the "triple bypass" in Colorado. Had no problems with digestion or cramping. Legs felt great all day. Recovery during effort even seemed a little quicker. Altitude did affect my performance im a Midwestern fella. But this stuff made a difference in my fueling strategy for the day. Would totally buy this flavor again.

Purchased for pre-operative nutritional supplement. Does gave effect on blood sugar levels. Mixes easily and tastes OK. No stomach discomfort.

Works and taste great for a long hot rides

Good stuff. I sucked it down so fast I didn't really even notice that I was taking in calories. Had some before a big hill climb (running) and felt good the whole way to the top. Recommended.

Product arrived damaged

Ne goûte presque pas sucré et pourtant c’est plein de glucide! J’en prends constamment lors de mes demi marathon, un bon goût de limonade presque un peu salé au contraire. Un bon carburant liquide.

Excellent running fuel. Goes down very well and don't get flavour fatigue. The 'high carb' bit is misleading as basically you just use lots of powder. Still my go-to for ultras. Mild flavour, mixes well and works.

I first tried this product at a race in Windsor. It’s a nice flavour and delivers constant energy without the high and crash. Easy to mix and now a favourite of mine over other mixes I can buy or use previously. You don’t get hand shaking and it’s beyond good for my longest run days too

Geschmack ist dezent,nicht aufdringlich oder schlimm künstlich. Magenverträglichkeit bei mir gut trotz des hohen Kohlenhydratanteils. Diesen finde ich praktisch,da ich unter Belastung lieber trinke als esse. Nachteilig ist die schlechte Auflösbarkeit im Wasser,das dauert sehr lange, und der doch hohe Preis,daher einen Stern weniger.
