Great hold for the entire day.
I used to use Sea bond strips all the time. I am new to dentures and in the beginning they worked well. But after a few months my dentures started moving all over the place. I did my research and found these. I can't use their glue on my lower ones due to having bone spur type issues that I have to address so I need the "cushion" help. These things were my answer. Let me start by saying they work very well. I have had my first soft reline and they still work. I saw some say that they don't work if you have had that but they work great with mine. They are huge, you definitely have to cut them to size. So one strip can be used twice, which is nice money wize. They don't burn, they are cushioning and they hold the denture in for an entire day. When you remove them they can and do leave some goop behind, at least for me. I simple use a piece of paper towel with vegetable oil on it and wipe it out. Or I use a toothbrush that I have bought just for this, soft bristles and if you run it under hot water it makes them even softer and wipe through my mouth gently. It comes right out. It might sound like a pain and time consuming but all in all it takes seconds to a minute. I always use the secure soaking tablets to get the residual sticky stuff off the denture. I love those tablets. I highly recommend these strips for a great hold for your entire day.

Great product!
I was pleasantly surprised with this product. When I put it in my denture, I used a little tool from my manicure set (I never knew what it was for, but it worked great here.) to make sure that the Secure pad was fit down in the little nooks and crannies in my denture. After trimming the excess off, I put it in and it held very well. I was even able to eat the hard Japanese crackers I love so much. When I took the denture out, I was able to easily clean it. There was no skin irritation either. I will be buying this again.

No hold for me
So first off I want to say Iโm new to the denture game. After trying all kinds of adhesives I found Secure denture adhesive is by far the best adhesive on the market. So, I decided to try these strips and see how they fair on my lowers. I might be doing something wrong because the instructions are rather vague. The shape of the strips are nothing like the shape of my denture and thereโs no way to cut it to make it work unless I chop it up in pieces, but I donโt think that would be right. My denture is more shaped like a U and these more like a V. The strips are not sticky in the least and wonโt adhere to the denture at all. I put a strip in my mouth and pressed and held it to my gums and even the roof of my mouthโฆ nothing. Folded one over and squished it together and it barely stuck to itself. These strips are also expensive $9 for 15 so for a month itโll be $18 but the denture cream is only $8. I also sprinkle some super poligrip powder on top of the secure adhesive to give it extra grip. The dentist completely jacked up my lowers and my lower gums so I have to do this. For the price of these strips, they should be made bigger to accommodate any shape denture then trim the excess. But like I said originally I might be doing it all wrong.

Does This Product Work?? It can on a Soft Reline...
Having read a number of positive and negative feedback on this product for the lower denture, I was curious about usage. Ordered this product on 9 /5, and received on 9/7. I wanted to use right away, so I took one of the cushions and matched my lower denture against it. You will have to cut to fit, and follow the instructions to fit inside the denture. Before I began the process I actually read the box, and it says that these cushions DO NOT WORK ON SOFT RELINES. Of course, I just had a soft reline done 1 week ago, and my upper and lowers are not staying tight, even after using my powder and tube adhesives. So before I go back to the dentist, I wanted to try this product anyway. I have to wait until June 2023 to purchase new dentures so something needs to work. After cutting and fitting the cushion, remembering to get any bubbles out, I placed the denture back in and bit down to secure. The fit was not right, so I removed, cut some more off, and put the cushion in place. The fit was perfect, so the test began on whether the cushion will hold. It held for 4-6 hours, even after having a salad for lunch, and pizza for dinner. However, it was not a super hold, and were easily removed at bedtime. The next day I used from 8 am until 6 pm, having had a snack and dinner, but before dinner was over the denture came loose and I had to re-adhere with tube adhesive. It was sort of an all-day hold, but not really, as the possibility of the denture loosening depended on how much usage of the lower jaw was taking place, as I was doing little talking most of this day. I was hoping to try on my upper denture but will not, so a dentist appt is happening soon. I 'll use them until gone, but will not order again. If you have a soft reline, don't waste your money on this item. UPDATE FOR 9.10.22: I took a suggestion from a review to add another adhesive on the top and bottom of the cushion to see if the hold would work, as I used little dots of my tube adhesive to certain sections of the denture, and it did! Hold was super tight from 8 am to 11 pm, even after having crunchy snacks, constant drinking, and two meals. I'm happy with the result, although it can be costly to order these with 15 per package, unless using the subscribe and save process.

Good for someone not too sensitive
I bought this for a friend. It holds the prothesis but it is a little bit irritating.

Sometimes it just takes another shot and a new method....
I've been a denture wearer for almost two years and have tried almost every product out there in hope of finding a something strong enough to just make it through a meal. Powders, cream, paste, cushions, combos of all... Nothing had worked well enough to be confident eatng in public without drastically restricting my menu options. I was just recently fitted with my permanents and though they feel snug and look amazing the bottoms still come loose after a few bites of my meal. I ordered these on a whim Thursday morning, rcvd them Friday afternoon, tried them Saturday (opted to follow reviewer advise and cut them down) and was on the fence. They held longer but still came loose before my meal was finished and were also becoming uncomfortable due the the mesh like center of the strip. Removing the strip took time and I could understand the previous negative reviews but I decided to try again today without cutting the strip into two narrow pieces. This time I only needed to trim I small amount near the edge. I added a tiny drop of the secure adhesive to a couple known trouble spots notorious for lifting (and I do mean "tiny"), towel dried my bottom gums, put the plate in, bit down slowly but firmly and held for 15 minutes without eating, drinking or speaking. That was almost 12 hours, 2 meals, and one snack ago. In that time they haven't shifted, lifted, caused any discomfort or oozed. This is the first time in almost two years that I finally felt confident enough to eat what I want without fear of dislodging them in public. This product and my own weird little tricks worked perfectly for me and I am beyond happy to finally feel as close to normal as possible again.... Update.... Made it through dinner. The Secure Cushion strip and tiny dots of Secure Adhesive on the trouble spots held strong though the entire day and all meals that required biting and chewing. I "enjoyed" blueberry pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit, a burrito filled with rice, beans, chicken, avacoda, salsa and cheese, a handful of cherries and a stuffed pork chop with grilled vegetables. My method to remove them is a mouth rinse of warm water & baking soda. The PH helps to dissolve the product enough to remove it comfortably and the strip was easily removed after a 10 minute soak in a warm water and baking soda bath. I couldn't be happier with the results and am so glad I tried this product!

WORKS LIKE MAGIC. I LOVE IT AND IT DOESN'T HAVE TO STING WHEN YOU ACTUALLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS๐๐
Secure is the ONLY adhesive that actually keeps my dentures. I used the when I first started wearing dentures (upper). Can't remember why I stopped unless the ones with Scope Are fresher feeling. But only Secure keeps my lowers in now. And I've tried everything. Then started searching for WATER PROOF and am back with Secure. No other adhesive would hold my lower dentures secure for more than 4 hours and that's if I didn't eat anything. Secure works All day. My Polident tablets clean very well and if any sticks to my gums, brushing with a tooth or denture brush and warm water will clean off any glue. I've heard complaints of how they sting when first put in. And they did and do. But this time around I actually read All the instructions and if stings, they say to let adhesive sit in dentures for a little while Before inserting in order to allow the alcohol to evaporate. That Does Work. One should Always read All the instructions. I didn't when I used on my uppers the first go round. I definitely love it. Even the cream is more cushiony than Polident or Fixident.

Too hard to get glue off without their tablets nort worth it
mixed bag on this one. It does hold but at what cost. The only to get the glue off your denture is to buy their tablets which arent cheap. Normal denture tabs dont work. Not worth and besides dont want such strong stuff in my body

works well although pricey
These strips work well - better than another product I tried (which is a spread on paste - messy and strong chemical taste). Following the instructions it made wear the lower denture more comfortable and is also helpful in excluding crumbs etc. Depending on use one strip is basically used per day - possibly 2 days - but then in combination with some creme fixative. There are 15 in a box, so I would recommend 2 boxes per month - the cost then adds up - but worth it if it helps.
