Nicely Featured, Affordable Printer/Scanner/Copier
This is a great deal for the price! I have owned several HP printers over the years, and this one did not disappoint me in its build quality, its ease of setup and its printing and scanning functions. I am using it principally with an Windows 11 PC, and so far it has performed extremely well. The driver installation and connection to WiFi were very quick and simple. Both the scan quality and print quality are very good, considering I paid only $60 for this machine. The automatic document feeder is really nice. I would love this machine so much more if it could print and scan duplex automatically, but, again, this cost me only $60, so I won't really complain about it. For what this machine can do, its price point delivers an amazing amount of value.

DO NOT BUY HP TO MANY PROBLEMS
Oh, you want to print something? Sounds simple, right?First, sign up for an account. Then download the software. Connect the printer to the internet. Open HP Smart.Wait... HP Smart isn’t loading? No problem! Just uninstall it, reinstall it, restart everything, question your life choices, and try again. Eventually, on approximately the 10th attempt, the software might actually open.Great! Now the printer can’t be found. So now you’re reinstalling drivers, reconnecting Wi-Fi, restarting the printer, restarting the computer, and performing whatever ancient ritual HP apparently requires before it finally decides to communicate. And congratulations! You can print. This time.Oh, you printed about 20 pages and now you’re low on ink? Wonderful. Hope you like paying HP’s ridiculous prices, because naturally they’ve made using cheaper alternatives as difficult as humanly possible. In conclusion: I hate this thing. The actual print quality is decent. That is genuinely the nicest thing I can say about it. Everything surrounding the printing process is an absolute nightmare.HP Smart is one of the most frustrating pieces of software I’ve dealt with. More often than not, it either refuses to load, fails to find the printer, or creates some new problem that turns printing a single document into a troubleshooting session. The printer is also unnecessarily dependent on HP’s software and internet-connected ecosystem, which makes something that should be incredibly simple feel absurdly complicated.I paid over $100 for this printer, and at this point I’m already planning to replace it.I’ll consider the money I spent on it tuition for an important life lesson:Don’t buy another HP printer.Decent print quality does not make up for terrible software, expensive ink, unnecessary restrictions, and the constant headache of just trying to get the thing to print.I genuinely cannot recommend it. HP has somehow managed to make putting ink on paper feel like an IT certification exam.

Reliable All-in-One Printer with Minor Drawbacks
I've been using the HP DeskJet 4255e for a few months now, and it's a solid performer for home use. Here's my take on it:Pros:Versatility: This printer does it all – print, scan, copy, and even fax. It's a great all-in-one solution for home offices or households with multiple users.Wireless Connectivity: Setting up the wireless connection was a breeze, and it stays reliably connected. I can print from my phone or computer without any hassle. Having that feature alone makes the cost worth it for me.Print Quality: The print quality is good for everyday tasks like printing documents, photos, and even some graphics. The colors are vibrant, and the text is sharp. My wife uses the prints for her CRICUT designs and they look amazing.Compact Design: It's compact and doesn't take up too much space, which is perfect for smaller home offices or apartments.HP Instant Ink: The included 3 months of HP Instant Ink is a nice touch. It saves me the hassle of running out of ink unexpectedly, and the subscription is affordable.Cons:Noise Level: The printer can be a bit noisy, especially during multi-page printing or scanning. It's not deafening, but it's noticeable. At the end of the day, this is a minor issue.... it's a printer.Cost of Ink: While the HP Instant Ink subscription is convenient, the cost of ink can add up if you print frequently. It's something to keep in mind if you're a heavy user. Also, be aware the free color ink included does not actually work if you don't sign up for the HP service. So be sure to buy color ink separately if you don't want to pay for a subscription.Speed: The print speed is decent, but it's not the fastest. For large print jobs, it might take a bit longer than some higher-end models.Overall, the HP DeskJet 4255e is a reliable and versatile all-in-one printer that's well-suited for home use. It offers good print quality and wireless connectivity but be mindful of the noise level and ink costs if you're a heavy user.

Great Affordable All-in-One Printer for Home
Great little printer for home useI’m really happy with the HP DeskJet 4255e so far. Setup was quick using the HP Smart app and it connected to my WiFi in just a few minutes. Just make sure you’re using 2.4 GHz WiFi, since that’s what this printer supports.Print quality is surprisingly good for a home printer. Text is crisp, color prints look nice, and the scanner and copier work perfectly for everyday things like documents, school papers, and forms.I also like that it’s compact and doesn’t take up much space, but still does everything I need. The 3-month Instant Ink trial is a nice bonus too so you don’t have to worry about running out of ink right away.Overall it’s a great affordable all-in-one printer for home use, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Good but slow
Good price but it is slow specially if using it in a wifi network. Loses wifi connection often

I can fax from my phone, from anywhere!
Had a Canon and it broke down on me within 6 months. Bought this printer and I couldn’t be happier. Setup is easy. Ink last a while if it’s not being used consistently. The membership is very helpful as it can be used to fax from your phone. It is lightweight. The appearance is nice and print quality is great. Compact size compared to printer with built in fax.

DO NOT BUY: Constant network drops, software glitches, and endless headaches!
Save your money and your sanity—do not buy this printer. It has been an absolute nightmare to use from day one, and the biggest problem is its awful connectivity.Horrible Wi-Fi & Network Glitches: The printer constantly drops off your home network. When your internet goes off, it refuses to reconnect automatically. If you try to join its direct HP network (DIRECT-xx-HP), it kicks you off your own Wi-Fi, locks you out of the internet, and still barely works.Terrible Ink Quality & Smudging: The ink stays wet forever. If you are doing any heavy-duty printing or printing on anything thicker than standard cheap paper, you have to wait at least 24 hours for the ink to dry so it doesn't smudge everywhere.Ink Subscription Trap: It burns through ink incredibly fast, and their Instant Ink subscription is a total trap designed to lock you in rather than help you save money.Every single time I need to print a basic document or label, I end up wasting 1 to 2 hours fighting with software and network errors. This machine is a complete waste of money. Look elsewhere!

Love It
I love my printer am all thrilled knowing I can Fax without having to go to a Postal Annex and paying a lot just to fax documents. The only thing is, I wish this printer would come in black so it can match with my office equipment, but other than that am satisfied with it.

Perfect for Home Use & Seamless Upgrade!
I recently purchased the HP DeskJet 4255e Wireless All-in-One, and it has been the perfect addition to our home. If you are looking for a reliable printer, scanner, and copier that doesn't take up too much space and actually works when you need it to, this is a great choice. The Highlights:Super Easy Setup: I had it up and running in no time. The wireless connectivity is stable, and the HP app walks you through everything effortlessly.Seamless Transition: We previously had an older HP model, and I was worried about the "switch over" process. It was incredibly easy! Since we already had an HP account, the printer integrated perfectly.Instant Ink Success: We had absolutely no issues activating the 3 months of included ink. Because our account was already active from our old printer, the transition was smooth, and the ink arrived exactly as expected. It’s been a relief to have a machine that handles everyday documents and scanning so efficiently. It’s a straightforward, high-quality printer that is ideal for anyone who wants a "no-fuss" home office setup.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT. TERRIBLE SUPPORT.
HIGHLY recommend you avoid this product. The ink included is only included for a short amount of time. Then you need to pay for an ink subscription with them. What if you don’t print that often? The subscription is not worth it.The HP smart app is VERY slow and not useful at all. After 1 year, my printer connects to my PC, but now it gives me an error that it cannot print. I tried the AI support, but it did not help at all and wasted so much troubleshooting time. I then called the support line. The support line said my warranty is expired and they would have to charge me just to provide technical support.Every time I used this printer in the past, each time it took trial and error for a long time - sometimes an hour or more - just to get it printing. This time, I have given up trying to troubleshoot this printer, and now the support line will not even help. I am extremely unimpressed with HP. Never buying their products again if I have to waste this much time.

Mal funcionamiento, cartuchos caros
No se consiguen los cartuchos, los que encuentras originales cuestan $1000, no reconoce el scanner, se desconecta, imprime movido, no importa que ajustes el papel. No la recomiendo, no la compren.
