Just as good as the twin reich
Good flow rate and well worth it as it's half the price of other 19l/m pumps.

Direct replacement for VW T4 California original pump.
Direct replacement for my original 1999 VW California coach comet pump. Straight swap on the wiring except the spade connectors on the original. I chose the higher flow rate/ pressure version from the original 0.6 bar version (which you can also buy from Comet still)

Excellent value
Excellent replacement for my old pump there are cheaper ones on the market but they don’t have the flow rate of 20l/pm and a lot cheaper than a complete unit very easy to fit

Not a suitable replacement for whale High Flow Pump
When the whale pump Assembly -EP1612- on my caravan failed after 3yrs I ordered a replacement Whale unit and one of these pumps to replace just the the failed pump to provide a cheap spare . The lead is the correct length, and I soldered it to the Whale socket to stop any corrosion. When installed the pump calibration procedure worked fine, and all was good for a week. We use the the caravan shower each day and go through about 60 litres per day. After a week the pump failed to switch off with all taps closed, recalibrating the pump failed, with the pump failing to switch off during calibration. Flow rate was good and similar to the Whale unit.Further investigation revealed that the Whale pump is rated about 1.3 bar, and this unit is rated at 1.1 bar. I suspect that this pump started with enough pressure to achieve calibration on the Whale system but when it had been 'run in' the pressure had degraded hence the failure of the calibration process. I haven't measured the pumps pressure so cannot comment as to whether it remains inside its stated rating, but at all timed the flow rate was as good as the whale pump. So for me its not the cheaper repair I was looking for. Your Mileage May Vary.
