Jergens Cherry Almond Perfume for Women, 1.7 Oz

This is a very nice fragrance, but it will have that "old lady" smell if you've not showered. Having said that, I've had many high quality perfumes that people critique as having an old lady smell, when in reality they are top quality, timeless fragrances, and this seems to be indicative of people having become accustomed to cheap, "Walmart," fragrances. I'm young, and this does not smell like an old lady fragrance - unless the person wearing it is unhygienic bc the perfume will react with the stale oils and pheromones on the skin to produce a fragrance that is not true to the formulaI do wish the almond part of the fragrance lasted longer, but I'm also familiar with working with essential oils, and due to fragrance formulas being heavily protected in the US, I don't know that this fragrance is made with essential oils, but I do know that the almond portion of the smell really does smell identical to almond essential oil, and the thing about almond essential oil is that it does evaporate quickly and doesn't last very long at all. It's unfortunate, but there's not much that can be done about itFor best results, shower, apply Jergens cherry almond lotion, then finish with this perfume. It will leave you smelling clean and fresh a pretty decent portion of the day. It also pairs well with powder fragrances (which are not "old lady," either, unless babies are considered old ladies now). I do think the price is a bit high for how short of wear time you get, but if it's indeed made with essential oil, then the price is probably about as good as it can get because almond essential oil prices are absolutely ridiculousThis will now be a staple for me as it's affordable and really does pair very well with the corresponding lotion, and it's less expensive than my all time favorite - Dark Obsession for Men (says for "men" but is a wonderful unisex fragrance). This is great for smelling fresh every day at the office. Again, just don't try to use it to cover up body odor, as that is what will lead to old lady smell

I have always loved and used the Jergens cherry almond lotion since I was kid. When I saw this was finally available, I purchased it right away based on years and years of experience and trust in Jergens products. Sadly, after waiting a few days to receive it, I sprayed it on and was extremely disappointed. Even at the moment when it’s initially sprayed and still wet, the scent in this bottle does not smell at all like their original cherry almond sent. It has a powdery and musty (not musky) smell. The scent reminds me of what you smell when you get near someone who hasn’t bathed in a few days and douses themselves in parfume to try to cover it up. It smells like body oder in a bottle. It smells that way, even if you spray it into the room like am air freshener.I initially thought that I must have received a a defective batch, but when I went in to exchange it, I discovered that they don’t offer returns. Other Jergens products can be returned on Amazon. I’m very disappointed with Jergens now, and question why all of the other products can be returned, but not this specific one. So be advised and proceed with caution. Personally, my days of purchasing ANY Jergens product are long gone at this point in given that they are not standing behind this product. ☹️

My mom always wore Jergens original cherry almond scent lotion. Back then they didn't have to call it "original" I don't know if they even identified the scent. Anyway I wear it because it reminds me of her, now my gkids say it reminds them of me. I was so happy when I found they also make the scent in body wash and liquid hand soap. Also wonderful.When I found this inexpensive cologne I was so excited and it delivers a fesh spray of memories and nostalgia. It smells exactly like the lotion. It is my new go to day to day cologne and you can't beat the price.

This perfume fragrance does not last. While it does smell like the lotion, for the cost of the perfume, I expected it to be a bit stronger and last longer. Stick with the lotion and save yourself some money…

It doesn’t smell exactly like the lotion. And people are right, I typically get a few hours where this scent smells good and strong. But it’s good to have perfumes like that too, and the scent compliments the lotion so nicely! I’m personally a fan but I could see how others might not be if you’re looking for something stronger for price and more longevity.

I love this scent and actually found it when I was looking for the handcream. I got it and sprayed some on for the first time. That’s where lesson number one comes in just try a little on your wrist before you go spray the rest of your body because it is potent! Good quality. As potent as it is. Which means that’ll last longer because you don’t need a lot. And it smells exactly like cherry blossom!

The product: Strong scent when you spray the perfume for the first time. The scent is constant when you put it back in the box and close it and then open it weeks later, you can still smell the strong scent from the perfume when you take it out of the box! This would be wonderful if the perfume was a good scent. Please note this is not the scent of the bottle lotion. The smell is not good. The scent smells like and elderly woman that is going to church on a Sunday, like the elderly women that wear the big colorful hats. It is strong very strong and the scent turns your stomach.I highly do not recommend this perfume. This stuff is FABULOUS! and unlike most perfumes I’ve bought like this, it last a long time!! I’m in healthcare and days after I’ve worn this perfume, if I open my hamper I can still smell it on my dirty scrubs!! lol it’s worth the price! I’ll be ordering again!!
