You don’t have to shout! I can hear you!
In case you don’t want to read my long review, buy it! It works! I’ve had problems with ear wax for years. An ENT doctor told me that ear wax is a good thing because it helps protect your ear canal, ear drum… from dirt and bacteria. Unfortunately, some people produce dry crumbly ear wax which balls up and muffles sound and the use of ear buds to listen to music, ear plugs to block excessive noise including my husband’s snoring, and yes, using cotton swabs trying to dislodge the excessive wax all just pushes it deeper into the ear so I can’t hear it thunder. I’m being dramatic, but I do have a hard time hearing when there’s any additional noise like a fan/AC vent, the dishwasher/washing machine running, water running in the sink/bathtub, loud talkers in a restaurant…so I’m often left saying ‘Pardon? What? Sorry, I didn’t hear you.’ I’ve tried ear candling and ear drops to soften the wax with no luck. I ran across a recommendation for this product and read all the positive Amazon reviews and took a chance. I put Debrox drops in both ears the night before to soften the wax, but I suspect it would still work even without that step. It came in yesterday and I couldn’t wait to try it. I searched ‘how to’ videos on YouTube and found one where a man is flushing out his son’s ears. The instructions are to use warm (not hot) water. In the video he recommends mixing up a solution of 1/3 rubbing alcohol, 1/3 hydrogen peroxide, and a 1/3 warm water so I did that. Aldo in the video he has a plastic ear basin. This is just the bottle, but you can order a kit with both the bottle and ear basin or do what I did and search Amazon for ear basin and order one separately. It was less expensive to purchase them separately. So I was all ready. The problem? I needed a 3rd hand. I couldn’t figure out any way by myself to hold the ear basin under my ear, hold the trigger on the bottle, and direct the plastic tip into my ear. I tried holding the basin up with my shoulder and ended up with water running down my shirt. I ended up putting a towel on my shoulder to catch any water or bits of ear wax and leaning over the sink to flush out my ears. Wow! I didn’t take a picture because it was really nasty looking, but I had visible bits of wax in the right ear and a good size ball of wax partially blocking my left ear. I flushed several times in both ears until wax stopped coming out. No pain or discomfort and best of all I can hear so much better! If you’re by yourself you can probably skip the ear basin, but if you’re buying to help a child or another person, I would get it. I searched online for how often to flush ears out and it suggested once a month, but if you have questions/concerns talk with your doctor. I didn’t receive any compensation for my honest review. I really love this thing. It’s so nice to be able to hear clearly!

Great for cleaning out the worst ear issues
I get otitis media at least twice a year from swimming and water activity. I use silicone earplugs but let's face it - I have weird ears and the left one never fits correctly; and sometimes you just get ordered into the fountain for some burpees and to dump your heat load... fed up with sitting in excruciating pain at 2a.m. in an E.R. that never gets it right anyway; or having to go out of my way to the Urgent Care that has this thing and someone skilled and patient enough to use it without making me pray for a Star Trek phaser to my head; I decided to get one for myself and see what would happen. The results? Fantastic; and I now use it once or twice a month even when I don't have symptoms - really clears clumped wax and nasty dead skin right out. Only concern I have is the same manufacturer has the same device with the same number of tips at different prices available at the same time; and this is confusing. Should be presented and described better; and an understanding that tips should be replaced every time needs to be on the site not just on the plastic bag it comes in. Still, a great product if you are frequently in the water and risk that kind of thing, or need to clean your ears regularly. Far, far safer than a Q-Tip and less expensive than a medical visit!

Great value.
This is a great value. This is the exact same thing I was charged hundreds of dollars for a nurse to use in my ear at urgent care. Easy to use, easy to clean. This tip was different than the one I had before but it still worked very well and seems safer to use on someone else because the older style was much longer. It doesn’t leak and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Just make sure it’s completely dry before storage and it will lost a really long time.

A most useful tool to keep in your house.
I purchased this in July of last year but didn't use it until today. I have been using Mineral oil, Debrox, and Hydrogen Peroxide at different times this last 2 weeks to remove a stubborn partial wax blockage in my ear, to no avail. Today I used the Elephant Ears and tried again. It Worked!! No spillage, and just following the instructions. My grandson was having a problem with a bad headache and clogged ears, so we tried it on him, and it worked for him too. he is 11. He said the earache went away as well as the headache. You could see that there was a problem in the water we caught in a clear glass. Make sure you use something to soften the wax before you do this for best results. My Doctor recommended mineral oil which we used before and it helped. So glad we made the purchase!!

Cheap, effective, safe, and easy to use
Value for money: This product is cheaper than going to an urgent care, where they would use the same exact product. It is perfectly safe as long as you dont have any pre existing ear conditions or an infection. Ease of use: Product is very simple to use. All you have to do is mix 2 tsp of white vinegar with very warm but not hot water. If water is cold or hot your equilibrium will be thrown off, and you may become dizzy. Then attach the tip to the hose. You may need to trim the tip. You may want to buy an ear basin. I bought an ear basin and ended up not using it, opting for just leaning over the sink. Personally, my ear that had a large plug of wax took about 1/2 to 3/4 of the solution for it to become unclogged. Using a wax softener may be helpful Comfort: You shouldn’t feel any pain when inserting the tip. If you have size-able wax build up there will be a lot of pressure until the wax releases causing some discomfort. I irrigated my own ear, in order to maintain safe control over the product. It is highly possible that you experience irritation from the flow of water. My right ear was so clogged that i regained a lot of hearing. I believe this increased audio input which resulted in a mild headache Summary: Overall i would highly recommend this product. Maybe not completely worth the money for one use. It comes with 5 tips though, which means you can get 5 uses out of it. Completely worth the cost considering product can be used practically endlessly as long as you keep buying replaceable tips

This Works
I have used the Debrox drops and their little syringe squeeze ball before, but I just dont have much luck in flushing out the wax in my ears. I wear hearing aids, so all day long the little ear buds are pushed into my ear canal. This doesn't let my ears naturally let the wax fall free. So my ears get plugged up. I bought this hoping it would work. I used the ear drops and then about 15 minutes later I used this ear washer using 2 tablespoons of vinegar and fairly hot water. This allows you to rapidly flush the canal out with enough volume to do the job. It cleared out a bunch of wax in my right ear that was giving me trouble causing whistling feedback through my hearing aids. After doing this, the feedback was gone. I guess I shouldn't have ordered new hearing aids! Oh well I'll have a backup set now.

Elephant Ear Washer didn’t really work
This Elephant ear washer bottle didn’t really work for me. It didn’t seem to flush out much wax and the stream is very fine and a little painful if you squeeze trigger too hard.

Relief at last
This thing works wonders. If you have an issue with compacted ear wax just toss the qtips and order this now. It's the only product that actually flushed my ears out and allowed me to hear again. Can't recommend enough.

From unbeliever to believer
So basically, my husband had the most clogged ears full blockage we tried everything. We bought the camera scooper, the no name spray washer and finally he bought this. I rolled my eyes and said he wasted his money and it’s not going to work. I WAS WRONG! He used it for less then 10 min and WE CAN SEE HIS DRUMS NOW! I’m so happily shocked! So if your trying to decide between no name and this one, just get this one!
