The second one is just as thrilling as the first! If you read one, you have to read the other! So many twists and turns with the bad guys, and surprises with the main characters. I adore Hayden, Calista (beautiful name by the way), and the best friend Harper. More spice and obsession to go with. Definitely recommend 100%.

From the first chapter Holden had me laughing/chuckling with his thought process and how he handled certain situations.. The man really didn’t get personal sp@ce or giving her time to think things over (I found his antics hilarious) In book 2 Morgan gives us the full picture, she answers question that were left open in book one all while still telling a story that kept me as a reader on my toes!! I needed to know not only how Holden was going to justify all he had done and continues to do but I also needed to know how the heck was she going to stay with him once she learned the truth… if you know you know and let me tell you I was shook on how Holden was able to pull all that off (but in a good way of course) 🤭 Book two definitely had a lot more details and grit on the storyline and I was here for it because the SPICE let me tell you the Spicy scenes were definitely spicy and well detailed!! Overall, I would say that this book was definitely worth the read and I loved Holden and all his s+@lk•h3rr ways!! He was definitely a join to read about… they both were really!! Happy Reading babes

⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I enjoyed reading this book & would recommend. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Great plot/spice balance. This review will probably contain spoilers for Book 1, Once you’re Mine. So if you haven’t already read it, you should probably start there! I really enjoyed Book 1 & I rated it 4.5⭐️! I flew through it because I was pulled right in to Callie & Hayden’s story. With the cliffhanger at the end, I knew I needed to jump right into Book 2. Book 2 was good but I wouldn’t rate it the same way as book 1. I ended the first book with a lot of questions and I feel like I was let down with some of the answers in the second. The whole duet is based around one mystery, the pill. However, I feel that the mystery is revealed and resolved all within a chapter or two. With that aside, I loved Callie & Hayden’s dynamic. Hayden is our typical over-the-top possessive, rich, alpha male who won’t stop at anything to posses Callie. She has a difficult time accepting that she’s in love with me. There’s a lot of push and pull between the two of them & it takes Callie a bit to stop pushing. Harper was easily one of my favorite characters! Her crazy, over the top personality was just what Callie needed. Overall, I do think this book was a bit rushed but I really enjoyed reading the duet as a whole.

This is the second book in the duet, and after the cliffhanger in the first book, I could not wait to see how their story continued! I absolutely loved their journey, and the author does such a great job of pulling you in and keeping you hooked. What I loved most was that even through all of their trials and tribulations, they stayed true to their feelings for each other. Their relationship definitely had its challenges, but that just made their story even better. If you love a possessive MMC and a strong-willed FMC who isn’t afraid to stand her ground, this duet is definitely worth the read. I really enjoyed their story from beginning to end! ❤️📚

Good, easy read. Read both in a weekend. Good character development. Has plot and spice. Nice wrap up to the story.

This was everything I wanted from the conclusion. The suspense never disappeared, the chemistry stayed strong, and the emotional moments landed even harder because I’d already become invested in these characters. But once again, what stood out most wasn’t just the story, it was the writing. The way love, devotion, and unwavering commitment were described throughout this series was honestly beautiful. There were multiple moments where I found myself highlighting entire passages because the wording was simply that good. If you’re looking for a dark romance with obsessive love, protective instincts, plenty of tension, and writing that occasionally makes you pause just to admire how a sentence was crafted, I highly recommend this duet.

This book was not as cheesey as the first. But still cheesey nonetheless. Still, some things didn’t make sense. Spoilers****^^ So Callie is not willing to forgive stalking but she’s willing to forgive him killing her only family left in the world? How does that make sense? I feel like Hayden didn’t suffer enough for lying to her from the very beginning. But I guess the baby complicates the whole relationship too. And let’s talk about THAT! A whole baby. Callie didn’t want to get pregnant. She went for a birth control shot. She made the mistake of telling Hayden. But who would know he’d be so manipulative and selfish to mess with that. He didn’t care that she didn’t want a baby. Only mattered was that he wanted a baby. That’s selfish! Truly, he didn’t deserve her. She could do better. Idc that he has money or all that. Also, Callie is very shallow. Her character gives me the vibe that she’s with him because of his money also. It’s not just because he’s hot or any of that bs. She wanted financial stability. It’s been like that since the first book. Yeah, she might love him and whatever, but a part of the reason she’s sticking with Hayden is for financial stability. She barely fought for her independence (that’s how I see it). There wasn’t much character growth for Callie. The only thing different about Hayden is that he became even more obsessed- if that’s even possible. What they have isn’t love. With all that said, it wasn’t a terrible book. Just something to read. It’s not as cheesey as the first book. For that, I’m glad lol.

I really loved this book. It’s a 5 star all around. This is the next book after Once your Mine. It’s the conclusion and it’s amazing 🥰 This is the exact type of romance that I am into know: dark, obsessive, never ending. I read a lot of reviews for book 1 and I am surprised by so many negative comments and how many people DNF’d it. First, the book has trigger warnings at the beginning. So, if you’re not into those things, then don’t read it. Second again: Trigger warnings. Always read them. I don’t like that Ms. Bridges is getting so much hate over this well written series. I, on the other hand am a domestic violence survivor and a rape survivor, and this type of book is a balm to my soul that helps me not only forget, but also heal. I bought this boom half way through book 1. This book was not gifted. I would like to thank Morgan Bridges for gifting us readers with this wonderful book.
