Nice and light.
Includes an attachment to make it work with lift assisted and non lift assisted tailgates. Love the ability to tweak the end covers to work with different trucks. Had to return as there was damaged caused by the shipper.

Not the best quality, cheap add on trim and latches from old design by the looks of it
Fit and finish are low quality, the contours are different from side to side. the attached trim cannot be adjusted without inserting homemade shims, .The latches are less than enchanting, drivers side doesn't close enough leaving lots of movement when it is "closed" The turn knob for the latch system does not work smoothly.....not at all like the installation video presented online. I know the manufacturer would tell you I don't know how to adjust it properly, if they do it's BS.You get what you pay for I guess but I recommend checking other brands before making the purchase.It is one of the lower prices out there and the shipping was extremely fast

Poor quality, plastic construction and will not support any real weight, instructions are poor
I had high hopes for this product, and I thought reasonably priced compared to other vendors. It was received well packaged and complete but unfortunately the latch assembly had a broken plastic part that prevented the center release from working. This combined with a poorly manufactured drivers latch made me think twice about keeping it. The latches themselves have so much play in them that the tailgate would probably rattle and it does not securely close. There is also very little adjustment that can be made to the latches so unless it fits perfectly you more then likely won't be happy. Also and most important the unit for the most part is made of hollow molded plastic and will not support the weight of a person making it difficult to get into the back of the truck because you can step on sit on it to get in. I have no doubt a heavy object you may have in the rear of your truck shifting would break right through this tailgate. After working with it for the day and considering all of the issues I was faced with I decided to return it. Thank goodness for Amazon, this could have been a disaster.
