Down to Earth All Natural Houseplant Fertilizer 8-3-1 Indoor Plant Food Pellets, 8 oz Mini Box

I typically don't get plant specific soil except for African Violet soil. However, I've got quite a few plants and I've invested a lot of time and money into them. I'm glad I tried this product. The bag was good for two small/medium pots. Plants are happy.

Time will tell how this particular fertilizer blend does on my houseplants, but I've used Down to Earth garden additives for years now for both plants and invertebrates (guano for isopods, greensand for hermit crabs, etc.) and always had good results.This is a small box - about the size of a small baking soda. The fertilizer is in the form of little pellets so it's easy to sprinkle onto plants - and much cleaner than a dust or powder. As with a lot of natural fertilizers, this has a big aroma, so I'll be decanting it into a plastic food storage container. Can't wait to see if this helps my black thumb!

2 weeks in using this fertilizer and plants are loving it, seen new sprouts as well. I love the ingredients are all natural. Great product!

We are using this on some flowers in containers, and also some herbs. Our flowers are blooming like mad and the herbs are doing great. The neighbor who gave us the oregano commented on how much better ours was doing than theirs. One spoon of the stuff is good for a month, and there is no mixing required. This is going to last us a good while and has been doing a stellar job, we are happy with it. There is a slight smell to it, an earthy fertilizer smell, not objectionable if you don't stick your nose in it. The artwork on the box is fun, kind of retro hippy, but we transferred it to a plastic container to make it easier to use.

This is really easy to apply and my plants seem to like it.

I garden a lot outside; I don't 'do' indoor plants. But I came across a striped squill that is not hardy here and couldn't resist. So I ordered this small box of Down to Earth All Natural Houseplant Fertilizer, glad to see I could get a small size of 8oz. Of course, just like outside, I look for all-natural fertilizers and Down to Earth does a good job with them. The little pellets are easy to apply, no messing with dust. Good product.

So this fertilizer is a great plug and play one where you can mix the pellets in the top soil and it will slow release nitrogen into the soil for the plant to feed off of. It doesn’t have any weird smell and a little goes a long way. Good value for house plants and veggies and fruits!
