ILNP Essentials Bundle - Base & Top Coat Nail Polish Trio

The topcoat and basecoat are excellent. I really like this brand of polish and this kit also had the frosted topcoat which gives any polish a matte finish. I intend to use that in the spring when I want a very dewy look to my fingernails.And right now I am wearing the Afterlight Polish. It can be worn over another shade to drab it, but it turns out it was the perfect shade for me in the fall. I did my toenails in sundown, which is a frost.It’s a new look for fall for me. Before I always went for apricot type colors, but this is so sophisticated.

Yeah, I'm a dude who paints his nails, get over it. I like the color selection from ILNP lots of earth tones and lighter colors.As to their Base coat, Candy top coat, and the matte.Base coat goes on quick, even, and dries fast.Candy top coat is brilliantly shiny and brings out more depth of color (imo).Matte finish I'm kind of on the fence, it does mute the color like frosted glass, maybe I'm applying too much, but wouldn't recommend on colors with depth, metallic, or holographic. I tried and felt the matte diminished the color more than I liked, however I'm going to see how it does with less splashy colors.While the matte isn't currently my favorite it covers well, dries, and protects as well as the candy and looking forward to trying it on other colors.I've rarely "lost a nail" with the BC/TC, minimal chipping and generally can get 1-3 weeks in a set, even when out boondocking for a month.
