My four years old kid loves music. This book is his favorite book now. He reads it everyday and dances with the music. He also cannot wait to share this book to his friends when his friends came our house. We appreciate the author for writing this wonderful book.

We have the instruments book which is probably the most amazing book I’ve seen, so I was really hopeful for this one. It’s good, alright if you just want kid to flip through, but I did feel it was a bit rushed perhaps when designing and therefore not as well made.If it’s possibly for the author to make some changes and then republish I’d like to offer my insights respectfully:1) combining classical and folk was a bit confusing. I think it would be great if there was one book that had only classical dances and a second book that had major/well known folk dances of India (so it should be two different books)2.) the instruments have complete compositions they don’t start and end abruptly in the middle of the set. In this book some of the recordings were partial which didn’t give the best feeling. For example kathak could have had a very short tukada that should start and end on sum. Our book at least has a lengthy composition that starts and ends randomly in the middle of a bol.So the fixes I suggest in summary are make two books, I would buy both, one for classical one for folk, and the other fix is to make sure compositions are whole and accurate to the dance form and the rules of each form.Otherwise the concept is great as always and the writing and illustration is great. My daughter surely enjoys these books and spends hours on them, so I’d just want them to be completely accurate as she learns grows and spends more time with them!

My daughters (6 / 2) are enjoying having the next version after enjoying Baby Sangeet so much. So far Bhangra is the biggest hit.

I bought this book for my grand daughter because she love music and dance. The baby sangeet is good but in this book the music is not heard loudly. We can barely hear it.

We received this book as a gift from a friend who knows the author. It is so cool to be able to share the various styles of Indian music and dance with our son!

Have the other Indian musical instruments book, so thought this would be a great addition. Nice quality, but speaker is definitely weaker and not as nice sound quality. Disappointing bc the other book was louder/clear.
