Easy to put together and install
This rack holds my three kayaks and saves garage/outdoor space as I plan to move them from outside storage to the garage at the end of the season. Took less than fifteen minutes to mount with electric drill. Would recommend to family and friends.

Quality is good, picture is deceiving.
Picture shows for boat capacity.Item is much smaller in person.I have an Old Town Discovery 12 ft canoe yak and a 14 ft wilderness pungo lake kayak. And that maxes out the capacity.

Couldn’t get the wall mount to work with included hardware
Wall rack was not mountable with included hardware! For reference, I’m okay with power tools. Not phenomenal but also not frightened by them. But when I went to mount this kayak rack, the included expanding screws were smaller in diameter than the pre drilled holes in the metal rack, so they couldn’t grip and hold the rack into the wall. I tried a few times and got my husband to try too, to no avail. I could have gone and gotten washers from the hardware store to make it work- included washers were also too small - but this is an expensive kayak rack and you shouldn’t need additional bits and bobs to make it work! For my purposes I ended up just attaching the rack bits to a two by four with regular wood screws and calling it a day but I’m upset that the underlying metal rack was largely useless. I wish I’d gotten a $30 set of cradles instead. Three stars for the neoprene padded arms that hold the kayak well and fit perfectly on the short edge of a two by four. Zero stars for the rest of it.

Not Recommended
I'm not sure what kayaks are in the advertisement image. In reality, they must be about 8 inches tall. With this storage rack, I can store 2 kayaks and 1 stand-up paddle board. It's not possible to even store 3 kayaks with this system, much less 4. The rails which are mounted against the wall are entirely too short. I also question whether each arm is capable of holding 50 lbs. For this to be a complete set, it needs to more rails to mount on the wall. The value is also just not there. The material included does not come close to the $95 price tag. I do not recommend this product, unless you are storing 4 kid's kayaks or stand-up paddle boards.

Wrong sized hardware, and cheap lags.
I should have paid $20 more and ordered the "other" rack. This one has cost me 2 trips to the Hardware store, and still not done!Washers were all wrong (too small, just fell through). Lags are so cheap that they just snap like twigs.I will update, once I actually have it installed.

It’s sturdy and easily holds our 4 kayaks
I can’t speak to the ease of assembly, but it is sturdy enough to hold our four kayaks

Super Duty
First, I was expecting this to be in par to wood racks that I have; this beast is a different ballpark. All of the tubes are thick, heavy steel. This is a very heavy unit. You'll want to mount the vertical strips first and then add the arms otherwise this will be too heavy for one person.Provided are expansion bolts. If you want to mount to wood, you may want to pick up lag screws. I used last screws to mount directly to a wood shelf. Each vertical bracket has 3 holes for mounting. Mount one screw, level, then add the other 2 screws. Repeat in the other side. The arms bolt in with two bolts with washers each. There are multiple mounting options allowing 2-3 holes between arms. If you have something overly large, you may even choose not to mount all the arms. The bolts tighten with the provided Allen key. Each arm is foam wrapped, and they all also have a neoprene sleeve over the foam. The arms are very well protected. The arms are also slightly angled upwards to ensure nothing rolls off. This will easily hold a kayak or three of mounted correctly.Overall I am happy with this. It is much heavier duty, heavier, and larger than expected. That isn't a bad thing, however. I'll feel confident putting quite a bit of weight on this.

Quality Item
I'm pleased I purchased this despite some of the bad reviews. Okay, the instructions are deplorably insufficient, but installing this is pretty straightforward. People complained about the washers being the wrong size (oddly, they are referred to as "shims" in the instructions), but they're obviously using them at the wrong location (they're for the support arms). People also complained that the provided hardware was low quality and not right for every installation. Quality was fine for me and the bolts provided are more suitable for installation into a solid (like cement) wall, but I was installing on the side of my wooden shed, so just got some M6 or M8 bolts. The metal components are high-quality and well-made and I really like the foam and neoprene covering on the arms to protect my boats. I have two full-size sea kayaks and a full size Algonquin Prospector canoe on the rack, all of which fit without problem (the canoe is tight though).I'm really happy with it.

Wall Mounted only!!!
Dont just look at the pictures...read the description lol it can only be wall mounted. I had to build a frame for it.Its of OK quality, shipping was fast. Not awesome but far from crap. The provided fastners are crap however, but I always assume they will be.

Doesn't fit 4 standard seas kayaks
I made the mistake of not carefully looking at the rack while working on multiple storage systems for a new garage. Pictures clearly show 4 kayaks with room to spare, so I suspect that they are fake and not to scale. One of the supports also had an extra threaded rivet where the hole should have been to attach the rack to the wall. After drilling that out and changing the customizing the bar spacing, the kayaks are within 2 mm of each other and I suspect I will need to throw away the rack if I buy a different kayak. Frustrating to say the least.
