How exactly does this Marlig Fix a Leak find where the leak is to know what needs sealing?

I don't know the physics of how it works. If you have a minor leak, it works well. I used a syringe that I cut the top off off to pin point where it was leaking on our 1999 hot tub. It finally died beyond repair this winter. This stuff will work for a few months or so and need to be repeated. We were able to make our tub last 2 more years with a few bottles of this. Not a bad result for the money.

What do you do if you have a 16X32 inground with a sand filter? Does this product clog up the sand filter?

Yes, but you will have to bypass your sand filter. I used recirculate. There are some fabulous you tube videos explaining how to use this stuff on a pool. It worked great for me!

I do not see anything for how much of this product to use for a so many Gallons of water. How much of this product get used for 500 gallons of water.

I think it says on the bottle how many gallons that it is good for, though it is a little bit of a guess. The important thing when using this product is to remove the pool filters so they don't get clogged up and to leave the jets running constantly for several hours. I think 8-10 hours is ok, but the longer the better.

Can this be use in the water supply with higher pressure.

I don't think so. Not in water supply. You can use in spa, and just let it circulate on low for 8 hours or longer.
