NeoPop Nuclear Semi-Permanent Hair Dye

This really is a nuclear, neon orange if used on bleached hair! People were stopping in the street as I walked by when I used it at full strength 😆 That might be what you're after, in which case - great! I decided I wanted a slightly toned down shade so I mixed it with conditioner the next time I applied it to get the colour I wanted (I have also tried the paler Pulp Riot peach shade but it didn't take well on my hair). I'm really happy with the colour I have now and a further advantage is it is really long-lasting. I swim regularly and other brands have gone weird colours or just bleached out but this hasn't at all; it is superior to some of the well-known cheaper brands.

Colour doesn't last as long as other brands

This product worked really great. It did not stain our skin, but I knew to use a petroleum jelly to protect ears and around the face. We did this for my daughter. She has a skin condition that causes open wounds, and I can’t take her to a professional salon due to that and this was very easy to use at home. We did bleach her hair with a 30 volume and a bond builder in it. This pictureis after one wash. I will see if her purchase quantities. She has very thick hair and if it was any longer than this, I would’ve needed more than one bottle. Overall, this was a really great product.

It's very hard to find a true orange dye that takes to hair well. For cool undertones, it's hard to find an orange-red that doesn't go pinky and too cool. I like the results of henna, but it'll keep building up infinitely darker toward the end on refreshers, is thick and gritty, and has unpredictable interactions with bleached hair. Most people unfamiliar with true ginger would mistake the results of this over a neutral/cool blonde for a 'natural' redhead. I gave it double processing time for unbleached hair (do at own risk lol). The result is a shade darker and two shades richer than the 'real' deal. Out of the tube, the dye's like darker/redder variety traffic cone orange. It's a runny cream, a very spreadable, well-mixed consistency I rarely see outside salons. There's a lot in there that goes far. My hair's waist-length and mad thick, and there'd have been plenty to cover it all, if I wasn't maintaining an ombre and highlights. It's beautifully neon-bright where I've tested it on pale-bleached parts, even with a little conditioner to soften it. Overall, I'm grateful to have found a nice flaming orange like this.
