Very handy
Imagine my surprise when, after signing up to 1gb broadband and buying some 1gb HomePlug adaptors, I discovered that one of my laptops didn't have a network port. I know I should have checked first but?! I was a little bewildered. Anyway after a quick search I found this, a make I have used previously and a very good price. It works a treat, plugged it into a USB port added the network cable and we were up and running, and it's running very nicely as well, no pauses, no drops nothing just a sweet stable fast network/internet connection :) Well worth considering if you need a network port on a computer without.

This works with the Nintendo Switch
Nice look and feel to it, seems sturdy. Just writing this to share that it works out of the box with the Nintendo Switch. It took me ages to set upon this, lots of contradictory specifications and product notes etc. But thos works great, hooked into a usb port on the dock and happy days the unit detected it that was that.

Good Product, good price, used to add a second ethernet port to a PC
I've used this to add a second ethernet port to an Intel NUC running my home lab / home automation projects. Specifically, to create a private network between the NUC and my NAS for iSCSI traffic.The adapter feels robust, sturdy, and off excellent quality. It was recognized instantly by Windows and been working flawlessly for the past few months.

Speedy Gonzales Sky Gigafast
Imagine my surprise when I found out my brand new laptop had no Ethernet port. In the year 2024. What is this? 2001?I just had Sky Gigafast fibre optics installed and wanted to do a hard-wired connection test. Thankfully, once I plugged this into my laptop and turned off wifi, the wired connection was connected immediately, and I got over 800 Mbps speed test result. I'm happy.

Good product, good price, does not work on Hisense A7K TV
I bought this item in an attempt to increase the speed of connection into my smart TV. Unfortunately it did not work. I don't see any failure being attributed to the product or company at all it was a risk I was willing to take. It is most likely a TV USB issue or perhaps a driver one. However I have now used the product to connect my router to my family's Switch. The product feels robust. It does not feel like it is ready to fall apart. Very simple to use and have seen the speed increase as it states with listing. I would recommend this product for laptops and for games consoles. For the price, it is worth trying if you want to try on smart TV but like me be prepared for it not to work.
