I made the mistake of ordering them too big because I was so burned out on having tight leg bands on my underwear. No worries with these! They are lovely and soft and the seams are protected so they're not scratchy at all. I reordered in a smaller size but I'll keep the bigger ones for sleeping. I decided to give this style a try and really like them. I ordered my usual size but they were too tight, especially around the thighs (I carry a lot of my weight in my legs), so I ordered a size up and they fit nicely. The waistband is very narrow, so on some "bloaty" days it can get a bit uncomfortable. I think if it were wider that wouldn't happen. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. That said, I was happy enough with these to order several more pairs. One note--they do sit very high in the waist--even showing a bit above my "mom jeans."
